My face is constantly dry and flakey sometimes red, lips are constant Dry and peeling. Nothing helps! Any suggestions?

Red skin from nose to under bottom lip. Microdermabrasion done flakey skin was back 2 days later. I use lotion and gentle cleanser I don't know what to do

Thank you for your question! Flaky and dry skin are common after microdermabrasion and it only lasts for up to a week. Keep using moisturizer and sunscreen. You can consult with your provider what is the best moisturizer option for you according to your skin type. Best of luck!

Thank you for your question. It’s always best to have an in-person
consultation with a qualified physician/dermatologist, so that he/she may fully
assess your skin. Some people have drier skin than others and have to use
specially medicated moisturizers or cleansers. Please make sure to bring in the
facial moisturizers or anything else you use on the face, so that your
dermatologist can see what is being used. You may be using an ingredient that
is drying out your skin.
