Will the full sun spot flake off when the coffee grounds do, or will I only have lightening where the coffee ground (peppering) is? I was happy to see I got the coffee grounds almost immediately but on some of the spots it is less than 50% of the sun spot that has any of the darker peppering on it.
I had an ipl done on my chest 5 days ago and was burned very badly. Every day it looks significantly worse. Is this normal for it to look worse each day and not better? PLEASE WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP THIS BURN MARK HEAL?
6 days post IPL treatment and this is what my chest looks like. Went back in to surgeon's office today, only to be seen by the original tech that performed the procedure. She did not seem concerned. Instructed me to use antibiotic ointment and come back in 3 weeks for check-up. These areas were oozing last night. I am keeping them clean and loaded with ointment. Is this actually considered a burn? And should I be doing anything else for the area? At this point I am concerned :-|
I received IPL treatment 1 week ago and was encouraged to use a Vitamin C serum following my treatment. The serum seemed to cause contact dermatitis all over my face. Redness + clusters of small, itchy whiteheads - particularly on my chin and cheeks. After calling the plastic surgeons office they told me to use Hydrocortisone. The reaction went down within 24 hours however, I am now concerned if damage was done by this inflammatory response, to my freshly photofacial'd skin. Could this be?
I had IPL on my arms and hands and am 7 days post tx. I still have quite a bit of coffee grounds, seems like it is taking a while for them to clear. Previously I have undergone 1 IPL tx on my face and 2 on my chest, the coffee grounds from these cleared in 5 to 6 days. I read that areas that are more vascular clear faster since the skin cells shed more quickly. Is this correct? If so, what is the average time for IPL recovery on the arms?
6 days ago I had IPL on my hypertrophic scar, it sort of started to flake off just now, however I'm really worried as my scar looks more red than it used to be and I also feel that it's harder. Please advise whether this is a normal result after 6 days or not.
It was the 2nd treatment. The first treatment I had no adverse effects. With this treatment I broke out in what looked like bad mosquito bites that were red, hot & super itchy. Took an antihistamine and swelling went down. 6 days later and the red dots that look like shaving rash have not changed at all. Im so extremely concerned that Im stuck with them forever. The technician has said not to worry theyll fade eventually but Im not sure I trusting her.
the doctor that performed the treatment gave me a exfoliating kit to move the process along but I am attending an event and need this cleared up quickly. can I get an IPL 9 days after fractional treatment. IPLs usually knocks out any breakout or is it too soon after this fractional laser treatment
I received 1 IPL treatment for dark spots and did not wear a hat after the 6th day of having the treatment. I also wore a sunblock that was SPF 30 instead of SPF 40 for five days. I have several spots now, and there is more hyperpigmentation than there used to be. I would like to get IPL again to get rid of these spots, but I have some questions. With each subsequent IPL treatment does your skin usually get more hyperpigmenation, or does it repair the skin permanently as long as you stay out of the sun?
