A year ago I had The fraxel treatment. I got the treatment because I have large pores and rough skin structure but it has not helped at all. Instead I have pigmentation. I went in with one problem and came out with two. The clinic said they will give me three more treatments for free. Should I do that? If not, what do you think I should do.
Hi everyone !!! Im desperately seeking help as my Dr is unsure of why has happened to my skin. I had fraxel done 6 months ago and for the past four months my skin has turned rough and bumpy. I stopped using all Products and only wash with cetaphil and apply DermAid hydrocortisone to my face 1%. Still no changes to the skin .I originally wanted to procedure to improve skin texture, help with congested skin and sebaceous Hyperplasia.
I had Fraxel re:store fri it's now Monday. My skin is so dry & is flaking a little around my nose & mouth. There's tiny brown spots that make it look like there is dirt on my face. I'm not as swollen or as red as I was. Is this normal? How could you wear make up with your skin so rough? When should the roughness go away? I've stayed home since fri but I have school later on today & work early tomorrow morning is it ok to wear liquid foundation (physicians formula. I did this for acne scarring.
I had erbium glass fractionated laser done 6 days ago. At the moment my face feels like sandpaper and is very obviously red/brown where the laser contacted my skin. How long till my face feels smooth and redness goes away? I work outside. I avoided the sun for the first 4 days but I had to return to work. I have a spf 50 broad sunscreen that I'm wearing (I waited the 5 days advised by my derm) makeup and a baseball cap. Will this be enough protection? I am worried considering I have olive skin.
I had a second round of Fraxel for my acne scars and after 9 days my cheeks have a rough, bumpy very unsightly texture to them. I hadn't had this problem the first time I had Fraxel. This rough texture is only on my cheeks (the doctor did turn the laser up for this area since scarring was the worst here). I have a few breakouts on my jawline (a side effect I also had after the first treatment) but the texture is more concerning to me. Is this normal? Will my skin ever return to normal?!
