I had my first Fraxel Dual laser treatment done 2 weeks ago. My skin looks awful! It’s so rough and bumpy (like a rash) and I’m getting tons of pimples. When will it clear up? I miss my soft skin!
Answer: Healing after Fraxel treatment It can take a few weeks for your skin to heal after a Fraxel treatment, so what you are experiencing may be normal. That being said, I highly recommend a follow-up with a board certified facial plastic surgeon or dermatologist to ensure that you are healing properly - you may need oral antibiotics or a topical treatment to address the issues you are concerned about. Best of luck! - Jacqueline T. Cheng

Answer: Fraxel Results--add Viva, microneedling/prp, radiofrequency, sculptra, skin care, Cosmelan It can take several weeks for laser results to settle. I recommend following up with your Doctor about after care. We use a specific protocol of exfoliation, hydration, and moisturizing along with protection after laser treatments. PDT therapy can calm any inflammation. I always combine lasers with microneedling/prp to get more of an outcome. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Fraxel Dual laser The Fraxel Dual is an effective treatment for stimulating collagen, reducing sun damage and brightening the complexion. Once the sandpapery texture flakes off, there can be some redness and it can take a few weeks to see the result. If someone is prone to acne, there can be a flare which a dermatologist can treat.
