When Dysport is injecting into the muscle it will temporarily take away the ability of that muscle to move or "be active" and that is how you get smoothing. However, Dysport does not lift, tighten, or fill lines/wrinkles/and volume loss. Fillers will help to fill in moderate lines, lift structural areas of the face that have suffered from volume loss and sometimes give a smoothing effect.
