Q: How to get my whole face smooth using Dysport?
Answered by Amy DalrympleJuly 18, 2019

A: Thank you for your question. Dysport is a great treatment for smoothing fine lines caused by muscle movement. When Dysport is injecting into the muscle it will temporarily take away the ability of that muscle to move or "be active" and that is how you get smoothing. However, Dysport does not lift, tighten, or fill lines/wrinkles/and volume loss. Fillers will help to fill in moderate lines, lift structural areas of the face that have suffered from volume loss and sometimes give a smoothing effect. It is best to visit a board certified plastic surgeon who can discuss both surgically, minimally invasive, and non invasive options that may be more beneficial for your aesthetic goals. Good luck from Orlando.

Q: How long after microneedling can I get Botox? (Photo)
Answered by Amy DalrympleJuly 18, 2019

A: Thank you for your question. It is typical for patients to wait a few days before injecting Botox after micro needling. It is typically ok to undergo Botox after the healing from micro needling has occurred. This can be determined by a decrease in the erythema and scabbing from the procedure. The amount of days will depend on your individual healing process, but is usually ok after 4-7 days. Good luck from Orlando!

Q: Witch‘s chin, What can I do? (photo)
Answered by Amy DalrympleJuly 16, 2019

A: Thank you for your answer. I can see from your pictures you have some hyperactivity with muscle activity in the mentalist muscle and could benefit from Botox in this area. Kybella would also be a reasonable option but is just used for submental fat in the under chin. You can also choose to do a little more invasive option. Accutite by InMode uses radio frequency to tighten and contract tissue and may be beneficial in this area. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon or certified practitioner to help decide your best options. Good luck from Orlando!

Q: Am I good candidate for CoolSculpting on my stomach? (photos)
Answered by Amy DalrympleJuly 10, 2019

A: Thank you for your question! Coolsculpting and Emsculpt work together great and I think it would be worth your time to visit a cool sculpting specialist so that you can see if you are a true candidate. Coolsculpting will improve subcutaneous excess fat in the stomach and flanks but does require an "in-person" consultation. It's always best to meet with someone who has great reviews and great before and after pictures to share with you and talk about your unique aesthetic care plan. Good luck from Orlando!

Q: Is CoolSculpting an effective way to deal with bingo arms? (photo)
Answered by Amy DalrympleJuly 8, 2019

A: Thank you for your question. I love your description of what you call "bingo arms" :). Coolsculpting is a great non-invasive option for patients seeking improvement of subcutaneous excess fat. The result will be depend upon the number of treatments performed, your cool sculpting professionals opinion, and of course the amount of skin laxity. Coolsculpting will be about a 25% reduction in the number of fat cells per treatment and has no indication for skin tighenting due to skin laxity. It would be best to get a professional opinion from a board certified plastic surgeon and someone who can inform you about cool sculpting, the benefits, alternatives, and professional suggestions. Good luck from Orlando!
