Hello! So I am 27 and have a lot of filler and had one thread lift. I had my fillers dissolved with possibly of radiesse being left. My tissues were severely deflated so I had a minimal fat transfer for the stem cells. The doctor noticed my skin underneath was hard and said it might be do to scar tissue(,. Is there a surgeon who would take this out without a facelift? It was compared to someone who gets breast implant formulation on my cheeks. Thanks!how much does this run for?$$
Hello, Im 3 months after facelifting and Im founding my jawline much bigger around the chin than it was - the tickness is running along the jawline both side. When I squeeze it between the fingers, I can feel tick, hard-ish tissue which is burning a little bit when I squeeze. My docto said its a fibrosis and it will goes away after a few months - the thing is there is no difference at all, it looks/feels same all the time and I look like Ken, with this squared-ish jawline.
I understand RF microneedling may cause scarring, or fibrosis, of the tissues and that can make surgery more challenging. Is this true in your opinion? If the answer is yes, that surgery is more challenging for the surgeon, does that also mean the patient's outcome is worse, or is it just that the surgery harder? Thank you.
I had asked my surgeon many times about pulling at the sides of my face, that seemed to develop many months after my surgery. He said that he didn't know what it was. Eventually he discharged me. Obviously I was unhappy about this but was getting nowhere. It was only by chance that the nurse prescriber, told me it is probably fibrosis. She used to work for a plastic surgeon and I respect her knowledge. Is there anything, realistically, that can be done to soften this?
I am 7 weeks post op facelift surgery and have developed significant fibrosis under the neck and throughout the jaw. My surgeon does not offer ultrasound but agrees in the benefits of this. How would i find a surgeon in my area (PA or NJ) who offers this?
I'm exploring options for face and neck lift that will minimize scars that may become exposed when my hairline recedes two inches from ear to ear due to frontal fibrosing alopecia. If I'm going to lose some of my hair I want to make sure my face and neck are looking their best. Just want to make sure I consider both conditions when making my decisions. Has anyone dealt with this double whammy? Based in NY metro area and willing to travel.
I had got fine contour threads absorbable a year back. What is still apparent is mild elevation of skin in a strange way and tightening in the threads area because of excess fibrosis. Now I am considering face lift, however talking to a Dr friend(not plastic surgeon) who raised a concern that face lift could complicate the fibrosis as dissection of skin in that area would lead to more scar tissue and hence more damage in that area. Please advise, if face lift solves the problem or complicates!
I had a facelift to remove permanent filler, nothing else discussed except the removal of excess skin after filler and fibrosis are removed from nlf and cheeks.My face is leaner now except from residual fibrosis but what i really dislike so far is that i have wider and higher cheekbones, temples & sides of the face looking masculine and harsh. When i smile there is some bunching on the side of the eyes and a gap between my cheeks and this added padding above my cheekbones which looks weird.
