Hello, I am 41 and I had facetite procedure with liposuction 2 years ago which did not do much to my bulky lower face. I have consulted 2 doctors about getting a facelift done but when I told them that I had a facetite procedure, most of them said that I cannot have a facelift now because RF can interfere with vascular web and chances of necrosis developing is pretty high. Does it mean i dont have any options left at all? I dont want fillers or botox.
I have had a mini facelift 2 years ago that I never really seen a difference. Thennow I have a lot of restylane. Which made a difference. I have an underbite so I am thinking maybe this has something to do with it. What do you think would be the best thing for me to do to make a big difference.
My primary FL was on 11/2020 and went disastrously so he did a revision after 16 months yet I still have issues. I asked for operative summary to move to another PS. The office said they can only give me the OS of the second but not the first surgery as they don't keep it on record for more than a year! I am sure he wants to cover up. Is this legit? What are my rights? How can I proceed?
I had a facelift, 2 years ago .Following surgery the swelling was extreme and even now my face swells and is numb on one side. Worst of all, since surgery, my bite is completely off and I have difficulty chewing & smiling .I am not even sure what sort of Dr to see or where to begin. I also have trouble turning head fully.I have tried talking to Dr and he said to give time and is evasive and takes months to get appt.He is well known but not helpful.Have you heard of bite issues w/ lift b4?
I had a face/neck lift 2 years ago this month. Had an initial good(ish) result, (it was really lifted but there was temporary nerve damage with a lopsided smile) it now looks pretty much like it prior to the facelift! I went back to the surgeon a few times but he was never interested and has now retired. The surgeon who has taken over his practice has offered to neaten up uneven bit under my chin but it won't help much. I spent the best part of 9000. So disappointed! Thoughts anyone?
Sad to say after two long years the feeling has not returned to my left ear after my face & neck lift. It has caused me so much discomfort . I have been having micro needling done on the scars and the pea size lump to hopefully get some feelings back. Just wondering if a nurosurgon or the plastic surgon is best to try and fix a nuroma?
I had a facelift from Warren Katz 2 years ago. He removed a large amount of subcutaneous fat from my lower and side face. This has been a nightmare ever since! My cheeks have become hollow and asymmetrical. My jowls are hanging and fat that was left has inched around my perioral area. What can be done?
I live in the UK & did serious research to find the right surgeon. The person I chose was, at the time, the president of the Brit Assoc of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Reviews in professional literature & from patients were exceptionally positive. However, 2 1/2 years after the surgery & I still have extensive numbness: both sides of face, neck front & back, ears, behind ears, areas of scalp - surgeon said this happens in only 2% of cases & it was perhaps due to my pernicious anaemia - what????
I had a facelift over 2 years ago. I have numbness in my face, forehead and neck. I have seen a neurologist but he says it is what it is. My problem is that it seems to be spreading. My ears are starting to feel numb and my forehead and scalp are also. I am concerned. If I make another appointment with the neurologist, what can he do for me. Should I get some kind of testing.
