I had a Blepharoplasty 2 years ago. After it healed there was a small bulge in the corner of my eye. I met with an oculoplastic surgeon and was told it was fat that could be removed. I had that done 8 weeks ago and now there is a noticeable crease or pucker in the area. I am not happy with the way it looks. I want to have realistic expectations. Can this be fixed?
1st upper bleph 1 yr ago left extra skin/sagging AND incision went far too low past corner of eye. Another surgeon opted to avoid low incision this time. 9 days out now, eyes look deepset, sunken, smaller. Fat also injected under brows. Are eyes just swollen or over-resected? Can't see upper skin fold but easily close eyes. Previous low incision now sags/puckers. PS measured eyes w/calipers, marked before bleph. What to do if too much skin taken? And how to fix sagging low scar from 1st bleph?
Lower eye blepharoplasty 3 weeks ago. Concerned about retraction, swelling & puckering. Should I take an oral antihistamine or using steroid/antihistamine type drops to help with swelling. Surgeon said he isn't worried & to continue with after care protocol of cold compresses 2 x day, Retaline individual dry eye relief drops, Systane night time eye lubricant & ointment on incisions. Next follow up in 3 weeks.
I had lower blepharoplasty 9 days ago and my stitches have been removed. My right eye has puckering where the stitches were. Surgeon said this will flatten out and to not worry and do hot compresses. He alsogave me 1% hydrocortisone to use for 6 weeks. Will it flatten?
I had both upper and lower surgery18 months ago and have been left with puckering on the outer edge of my eyes due to tight stitching and webbing which occurs when I move my eyes causing distortion to my eyes.Surgeon says there is no correction he doesn't know what has happened! I am devastated and would like an explanation as to what has happened and if anything can be done to correct / lesson the impact of terrible surgery
Approximately 7 years ago, I had an upper bleph for saggy eyelid skin. It was an improvement, but I think it could have been better. My eyes ended up rounder. I lost the almond shape I had before. I also ended up with puckering to the inner half of the lids. It was immediately apparent. It's as if a purse string was pulled too tight. It wasn't bad enough that I was motivated to undergo more surgery. I'm wondering if this would be a relatively easy fix. Thank you.
I am 3 weeks post op after a lower blepharoplasty and fat repositioning to correct lower eye bags and deep tear troughs. I had no bruising but a lot of swelling, that has gone. I still have chemosis in both eyes but what I am more concerned about is the pulling to the sides of my eyes leaving a dent and puckering to the skin.(see photo) Do you know what this is and if it will go away? I have to wear glasses to hide it. I am seeing my surgeon for a review soon. Please can you advise me.
