I went to see my doctor regarding my concerns and was assured my eyebrows are healing normally. But based on photos Ive seen of others brows they look far more normal/healed than mines. I am terrified that something went terribly wrong and I cant tell if the scabs fell off or if my skin has been altered or scarred. Any advice will be helpful.
Had an eyebrow transplant one week ago. I realize it's too early for results but the shapes are completely different. One eyebrow is much shorter and arched and it looks odd at times. Swelling has subsided so I don't think Its due to that. One week out I have bloody, crusty scabs which makes it even more distracting. My grafts are very short, almost spikey, with the scab over it like a little red dot. Again, just looking for assurance on what's normal. It's got me a little nervous.
Had eyebrow transplant recently done I'm now in day five and gently washed the area without rubbing with baby shampoo as instructed,I noticed when I walked with shampoo it wasn't tingly and I could see the raised holes from where the hair, I'm African American and my brows still look really dark compared to others eyebrows on seen at day five, when will my eyebrows scab up and fall off and start to get lighter again
Things to do during research period, what to ask from my doctor? how to decide the right shape for my face ? I'm very lousy in drawing them and I want the perfect shape ever. post the surgery? how long it takes to heal? scabs and bleeding , puffiness and bruising if possible?
I am worried since so many hairs were pulled when the scab came off. However, there was no blood following what I did. The directions I was given said I could gently wash my brows with a little soap after the first week & I thought pulling on the scabs would be okay. Now, there's a missing patch of eyebrow and in a couple months, I am afraid there will be a couple bald spots due to the grafts I pulled out. Can I continue to pull on the scabs if the grafts are establish or should I leave them alone?
