I got dysport for cosmetic reasons and I had a terrible effect. Droopy eyelids, swollen brows, weakness, etc... And now this terrible rash on the injection sights. I went to a dermatologist that advertised botox, only when I got there he mentioned he didn't carry it, but that Dysport was just as good and more affordable...$400 later and I have this... It did not last 6 weeks despite 100 units... Help please...
One week after injection ( with no other significant complications) I noticed a very transient itching all over my body- almost like a contact dermatitis. The next morning my eye was swollen shut. After some Benadryl my eye had cleared up but the rash continues. Another example- tonight, 10 days post injection and drying my ear with a q-tip turned it bright red and caused swelling that lasted about 15 min.
Everytime I get dysport I get a rash but this time it's terrible won't stop burning and is clusters and really red it used to start on my forearm then moved to my armpit now is on my chest is sometimes stops immediately but this time it's at a angry inflamed stage is there anything I can use to help this, allergic reaction to dysport everytime
I received Dysport yesterday for the first time. Last night I experienced flu like symptoms, headache and nausea. Now a mild fever and rash. I have read that it is a rare occurance, but that you can get a rash from Dysport, particularily if you have an automimmune disease. I do have Hashimoto's disease. I went to a very respected and prominent dermatologist that has told me to see an internist that it cannot be from the Dysport. My internist thinks it is from the Dyport. Any recommendations?
I read in a patient's review she got rashes and itchy welts after Dysport (http://www.realself.com/review/rash-hives-after-dysport-los-angeles). What kind of side effects may Dysport have? What might have caused the rash or other side effects?
I had a Dysport eyebrow lift 5 days ago. I also had been diagnosed with Cutaneous Lupus. 1 year ago. My doctor who administered the Dysport was aware of my medical history and gave it to me anyway. Now I have deveoped a systemic itchy rash on my legs. arms and torso. I think I am having an auto immune response to the Dysport and a flare of the Lupus. What should I do? I am itching like crazy! Oh, but my forehead looks great!!
