Long story short, last March I had my first breast augmentation. I didn’t really know what I wanted & just went with the recommendation of my surgeon. Even asked to go with a smaller implant than he recommended because all I had in my head were all those “Don’t go too Big!” suggestions in my head. After the surgery I immediately thought they were tiny then after everything was said and done I felt like the two inch gap on my chest between my boobs was just weird. My surgeon says he likes that look; it’s most natural looking - however no one I know with a full bust naturally has them two inches apart. I found myself still constantly in push up bras and without one I felt like my boobies just disappeared. Also; my left breast didn’t settle as well as my right. I went back to my doctor and after a little back and forth we decided on 15 cm diameter 605 cc moderate profile implants. I will no longer have a gap in my cleavage! (At least I hope this is the outcome.) I’m one day post op; and don’t have any pictures except for those taken on the operating table. Please do tell me what you think about the size & positioning is the implants!

I can't say enough about the excellent experience and outcome of all of my procedures with Dr. Perrotta. The entire process was outstanding, from the initial consultation to the final result of all procedures. Dr. Perrotta is warm and affable and takes as much time as needed to understand his patients concerns. After this, he is very thorough in explaining what he feels would be the best solution to achieve optimum results. His staff clearly follows his lead in treating patients in the highest regard. I have had several elective procedures with Dr. Perrotta, and the follow-up care and after-care provided to me has been consistent and meticulous. Whether elective or non-elective, Dr. Perrotta is the ONLY plastic surgeon that I would ever see, and I drive 4 hours for my visits!

I first had implants to put back what my first child took after I stopped breast feeding. I thought I needed a lift. But a breast lift at 23?! Really!!! My old ps said I didn't need one so I just got saline implants. I lived with those implants now for 9 years. I wasn't in love with first results but it was better than what I had before. So after my second child, I did not breast feed my second child and I watched my weight gain during the pregnancy, unlike my first one! I only gained 5 pounds but when my breasts filled with milk. They got HUGE!!! So after the milk went away I walk left with both breast implants that were not even on my chest anymore. They had both bottomed out! I knew I needed a breast lift. So finally I did it! I kept my old implants. Why not they are still good! I had an anchor lift with adm to help the implants from bottoming out. So far it's only been 2 weeks but my breasts are as perky as the were when I was 21. So far so good

I've been very itchy in-between my boobs, almost like a sunburn feeling. I don't know if it's normal...I'm just assuming it's from my skin stretching. Also where my drains were put in, it still hurts. It's been 14 days PO and they still hurt. So far so good other than that. I cleaned my house yesterday and I'm sore from that as well. I'm just going crazy not being able to do much!

Today I noticed that I was spitting stitches through all of my incisions. I was healing up nicely and than I took off my bandages just to check for infection or anything abnormal and I noticed holes that weren't there before. I could see and feel them sticking out and coming through my skin. I called my doctor. I see him Monday so we will see how it goes. I get so nervous about things. My boobs are very tender right now. The only way to explain it would be if you have ever had children and the days after birth your breast start to fill up with milk and you get the uncomfortable feelings...stretching, stinging type feeling.

When I had my BA 9 years ago. I lost all feeling in both breasts. It took some time to get used to but it was normal after 9 years. Now that I just had a breast lift all of my feeling is coming back but it HURTS! I'm getting shocked and zinged. If my nipples get hard at all. OMG. It hurts. Where a bra hurts there. I'm hoping this goes away with time. Another thing is. Most of my pain is right at my rib cage. Even touching it hurts really bad. I feel like I'm not healing as fast I as should be. Unless I'm just over thinking everything. But sweeping the floor, grocery shopping, reaching my arms out. It all hurts. Hoping it'll slowly start to get better.

My right areola is off so my PS is going to do a revision in his office on Tuesday. I'm not nervous but I am nervous about the needles that are suppose to numb me! He also told me that my right breast was a little lower than my left. I didn't even notice it. He told me to wear a padding under that breast to prop it up for a month and when he sees me again. He will decide if he wants to go back in and stitch up everything to make it tighter. Which does scare me. I've been out of work for 3 weeks already because my work involves heavy lifting. So I don't want to miss work but at the same time. I wanted these boobs. And my doctor is an awesome PS. I'll get my second surgery if needed for free so the money doesn't concern me but I'm just nervous.

The needles HURT. the smell of my burnt skin filled the air! Weird. The first and second day hurt. I was working and I bled through my bra so that worried me. It's been 4 days now and I'm feeling better. It still hurts to touch but I'm glad I got it done. It was worth it. I go back this Tuesday to get my stitches out!!!!!

I had my revision of my right areola about 8 days ago. I had my stitches taken out today. I was told to start using scar treatment on them. Trying to figure out what cream,oil,lotion to use is mind blowing. Makes me not want to use anything. I don't really know if that stuff actually works or not lol. Uhhh. Still loving my boobs though. Scars and all

My left boob makes a squeaking noise when I lay on it a certain way. That was a weird discovery lol. I'm not worried about it. Just putting it out there. I'm still very sore under my boobs where my ribs are because my PS attached ADM to my rib cage. I'm surprised that it still hurts. Where my drains were put in. The spots are red and still there. I'm assuming they will fade like my BL scars. I need to start scar treatment although if my boobs stayed like this. I would be okay. I love them and they are far better than what I had before!!!!

After the birth of my 2nd son 25 yrs ago, I went from a C to a DD. Granted that my breast are not extremely large but my frame is small (size 6) and I've been dealing with back, neck & shoulder pain for many years now, but even before any pain symptoms I always been uncomfortably self conscious of my size. I have discussed with my PC on a small C.

Breast reduction, lift & lipo surgery yesterday went well. Surgery was 2 1/2 hours. Slept most of the day from anesthesia and pain meds. Some tenderness today but not too bad and a little bleeding on one breast which told was normal. Didn't like the side effect of Percocet so PS switched me to high dose of regular Tylenol. Can't take my gauze or retainer bra off for 3 days, can't wait to see the girls.

First time looking at my breasts I was horrified but I thank those who have shared your experiences and said they nearly passed out too, gave me hope that my breast wouldn't stay distorted. Though I was going to wait for them to look better before posting more pics and at the risk of making some of you nauseated I'm going to show my progress in hopes it helps some.

Tomorrow is my 1st post op appt, hope the bandages below the breast come off since they're beginning to itch. I've heard from some that they had drains put in, I didn't and thankfully made out really well.

Today was my 1st post op appt. All looks good; stitches were removed & new sutures put on. As per my PS I am to wear sports bra now instead of the garment. I look forward to some shopping tomorrow.

Got these scar strips on the recommendation of others on this site. I started using them after the stitches and sutures were removed. Really love the results, wish I'd known of this when I had my tummy tuck 11 years ago. I too recommend them.

absolutely loving my new fuller lips! will, for sure be filling them again in 4-6 months! the pain on a scale of 1-10 was about a 3 for me. It just felt like a small bee sting. I was in and out of the office within 30 minutes. About 15 minutes of that was the paperwork, 5 minutes for questions and 10 minutes spent on the actual injections. would recommend!

I have had a great experience with Dr. Perrotta and all of his staff. I had a full tummy tuck with hernia repair, full muscle repair ( I had a large separation) and silicone breast augmentation. I am about a week and a half post surgery. I have been very impressed with the office and staff. Laurie the surgical coordinator has been absolutely amazing. She responds to all of my emails and concerns within minutes and has calmed my nerves on several occasions. The surgical center is in office and my experience on surgery day was very positive. My nurse Julianna was amazing.... She picked up on both mine and my husbands personality and we joked and talked and calmed my nerves before surgery. She also helped post op with answering questions on my healing and was amazing. The anesthesiologist was very informative and very personable. I am still in the healing process but I am pleased with my results so far.

I searched and searched this site for months before my procedure for information and reviews. I thought I'd offer my suggestions for pre/post op.
1. Multi vitamin
2. Extra vitamin c
3. An electric recliner ( we had a reg recliner but w a ba you can not control the leg by yourself. My husband rented one on Black Friday $20 for 4 weeks. it was the only way I could get up and down on my own! You will be sleeping in this for about the first 2 weeks!
4. A water bottle with a good straw. Sounds silly but when you are barely able to lift your arms and you are in and out of sleep bc of pain meds having a good water bottle w a long straw really helps
5. Gatorade/crackers/soup/jello/ snacks w fiber
6. Stool softeners/ prune juice ( you will get constipated from the pain meds which is no fun when your belly is worked on.
7. Bacitracin ( I put some around my drain site when I changed my dressing)
8. Snap front bras ( I was able to change from my surgical bra after my first appointment I found an awesome one at Walmart for 5.98 that had hooks in the front and was very comfy on my incisions
9. Vitamin e liquid and arnica liquid to put on skin other than incisions to relieve itching, prevent brushing and stretching
10. Most importantly someone to be with you for at least the first week of not more. You can not do anything by yourself so you have to have someone help you with everything!!

I was always very athletic never had an issue with my stomach until after my second child and c section. I developed a wide diastasis and umbilical hernia. I had constant back pain from having no core strength.

I have to say that this surgery or combo of surgeries will knock you off your feet! I have been driving and up and about doing some simple house work ... Taking care of my 3 year old for the past 4 days. After 3 hours or so I'm ready for a break mainly from being tired and back pain ( I'm still not completely standing straight). Everything is healing well and tonight I took all binders off and it was the first time I felt pretty good without having them on. Baby steps ... Day by day is the only way to get through this surgery. I'm happy with results so far hopefully things will only get better!

So far so good with healing my scabs have come off of my belly button and most of my abdominal incisions the scars under my breasts are barely visible I've been rubbing and massaging them with vitamin e as directed by my surgeon I am not putting anything on my belly button or belly scar

I was also cleared to start scar therapy. I purchased silicone scar sheets to use and will begin under my breasts and on my belly button. I had to have two sutures cut on my tummy so in going to wait until they heal to start on my tummy scar. Using newgel sheets and silagen also purchased kelocote to use when the sheeting becomes in usable.

Healing has been going well... My right implant has been slower to drop than the left no issues at all with it. My right was making a "rubbing" or squeaking Sound. I had my muscle injected under that breast to try to get it to relax a little which can seemed to help some. The rubbing sound comes back every now and then especially when I exercise.... Incisions are great healing well... I have a slight bulge from my upper abdomen that he thinks is a small dat collection from bringing the muscle together.. I may need some Lipo in that area but overall I've been back to work , working out 4-5 days and week and feeling good!

Everything has been going fairly well... Going about my daily routine with work and exercise. I find that I still have a lot of abdominal swelling. In the morning I look great by the end of the day my stomach is bloated and tight. If I wear my compression it helps. I though something may have been wrong with my muscle repair but I don't think so since the swelling goes almost away in the morning and gets worse at night. I just now started doing some core workouts along with my normal cardio and lifting.

Hello! I'm brand new to this so this first review will be pretty short! I have been wanting my nose fixed since middle school. I have always been picked on in school, and I never had a guy that liked me in middle or high school simply because of my nose. I even had one classmate leave the room and say bye to everyone and then turned to me and said bye big nose. So needless to say I feel very insecure. I like to think I look decent otherwise (besides my nose ) ... I have about 5 days left before surgery (gotta be there at 6:45a and it starts around 730a) on the 7th. At this point I really don't care what my nose looks like as long as it looks like a normal nose that doesn't stand out anymore. My worries are the possible but rare side effects from surgery like stroke blood clot heart attack death. It makes me very nervous.

So this whole week, even up until yesterday , time has felt as if it was going by super slow. Then I woke up this morning and BAM it hit me, this is the last day i'll have my "normal" nose. Now I'm actually starting to worry about the recovery process, especially the first ten or so days with the cast on and the major healing being as I only have a baby sitter (my grandmother) for the first 2 days and I have a 21 pound one year old that likes to be held lol. I'm also scared that he won't recognize me. Especially with the bandages and bruising. I don't want him to think I'm not his mommy anymore :( ... I chose to do it now because timing seems right. I have a job where I work at home and I make my own schedule and I wanted to do it before I started going back to college so I wouldn't miss any time. Otherwise I wouldn't have done it while my son is so young... Another thing is (tmi warning!) my period is a week late. I've took over 6 pregnancy tests all with a clear negative! Thank god in this situation. Even tried different brands. I was sick last Sunday and just recently started working out again so maybe that changed it? I've been WAY more stressed out than this before so that can't be it. I'm not telling them though. I feel as long as my tests say negative, I shouldn't postpone the surgery. Especially last minute. I'm taking another standard procedure preg test at the doctors tomorrow morning anyway. I just hope I'm not going through super early menopause !! Lol!! That's about all that's been in my mind so far ... I may update between tonight and very early tomorrow morning. My scheduled arrival time is 6:45am eastern USA time and I'm suppose to start surgery around 730a. So hopefully everything will go as planned. Talk to you later! ????

Well technically about 3 hours, before I have to get up and take a shower and leave. I was instructed to wash my hair before surgery to minimize germs. And no deodorant ! I'm gonna be sweating my ass off with these nerves lol.. I really hope I don't do something embarrassing while in surgery like fart , haha. It sounds funny but I would never know and they would be like that's the girl that farted real loud ..lmao. Oh man, anyway, I am usually a night owl because this is my time I actually have to work, which also means it's when I eat. I don't eat much in the day time because of this backwards schedule. Today I had a salad for dinner and cereal at 9pm and now I'm starving!!! I could go for some pizza or Chinese food, or a clump of dirt for that matter, I'm so hungry lol. When I came home from surgery with my breast augmentation 3 years ago I went straight home and ate a loaded baked potato , yum. Anyway I'll just be laying here in bed until 5:40, bored and anxious. I'm not sure how soon I will update after surgery. Usually when I don't feel good I can't focus on electronics without feeling like I'm gonna puke. So far I've never actually threw up from anesthesia btw. I hope the same for this time because that's one if my biggest fears :( . At the very least I will post a picture if nothing else. Pray for me if you can! I will talk to you all later!

I woke up from anesthesia around 11:30am and felt soooo naucious ... So far I'm only hurting just a little ... The anesthesia is the hardest part for me. I just got home . It's very hard to swallow with my nose stuffed. I'm already bruising too but I didn't take any arnica or anything. I'll post pics. They aren't that good but I'll do more later. My throat hurts too.

The only thing that is bothering me is the fact that I cannot swallow correctly due to my nose being packed inside .. It is getting so annoying and uncomfortable .. My nose it's self isn't hurting at all. Is it suppose too? I've only took a half a pain pill around one and that was just incase ... But I still have no nose pain . My throat and swallowing is definitely making up for it though. I think I have the packing in until day 3. I love my nose so far though. Every angle I take a picture in looks "normal" it won't stand out anymore once it's healed and clean!

I'm having trouble sleeping so I figured I'd write some more random things on here. Still no nose or face pain, last time I took ANY pain medicine was right when I came home from surgery about 13-14hrs ago. And I wasn't even in any pain then, I was just doing it in case. It's very uncomfortable having to breathe through my mouth and I can't swallow right. I don't have an appetite but I think that's because it's too much of a challenge for me to swallow and I can't taste anything anyway. I'll be so happy to get this packing out!! Lol. I tried a cough drop and it really helped keep my mouth from drying out, but I can't sleep with it so there's really no point lol. Besides the swallowing problem I just feel like I have a bad cold. It's also really annoying sleeping sitting up.my face has blood all over it and I have strings hanging out of my nose so that's also annoying lol. I bruised right away but it hasn't progressed any, but I think my tip is swelling and my eye lids too.

I woke up about 2 hrs ago to very swollen eyes and lips lol. It itches. I'm worried about the fact that I'm still bleeding. Is it normal the day after? I'm not soaking them every half hour but still it's a fair amount.. I emailed my doc to ask, still waiting on a response . Still no pain. I found a lot of snot looking blood in my mouth. The only pain I had was when I tried to rub my eye. I almost rubbed my nose earlier , that woulda been bad. I forgot to take my antibiotic yesterday so I hope that doesn't cause infection. All in all I'm just worried today. I want to know all this is normal and then I'll be happy again. I really hope this swelling in my face and lips go down soon though. I hope they don't stay as long as my nose will be swollen or I'll be mad lol. Still haven't took any pain meds not even a Tylenol .. I'm really tired and I've only eatin about 12 crackers since yesterday and maybe a half glass of liquid.

My nose is still leaking mostly clear but bloody fluid. Mostly when I eat or drink now. I've still had Zero pain this whole time. And I mean ZERO . It's like all I had was a bad cold with bruises and swelling. Don't get me wrong it's still just as miserable as any other surgery but just no pain. And he broke my nose in 3 places I believe. The stitch removal was a little painful though and the packing removal burned. Thursday I get my cast off. I'm just more excited about all this face swelling to leave. It's getting in my nerves! Lol. Not my nose just my face.

I'm noticing one side looks like it has a bump (b) and the other looks normal (nb-no bump) swelling you think or did he add too much skin graphing to that side? Also the bump side looks more raised up

I'm scared now since the cast is off that it will somehow change form over time and get a bump or something ugly lol is this possible ? I love my nose now it was definitely worth it if it stays this way minus the swelling

I have always struggled with excess fat around my hips and thighs. I first saw Dr. Perrotta for a TT consult - I've had 3 children and the entire consultation was so comfortable. I was so nervous but he quickly made me feel at ease and discussed all my options. He explained in detail my body shape and the optimal treatment plan to get the results I desired. Through his questions and analysis, it was evident that it was my hips and thighs that truly bothered me the most. I was nervous to have my procedure but everyone at their office put me at such ease. They are so caring and attentive. My surgery was done at their surgery center, which is attached to their office, which made it super convenient and private. The surgery itself took just a couple of hours and my husband was right there when I woke up, which was so nice! I had a lot of bruising but I was back to work within a week (I have desk job). I won't sugar coat that the recovery was uncomfortable but I would do it again in a heartbeat. I only took pain meds for 24 hours. I wore my garment (really like spanx) for several weeks. It just made me feel better wearing it. I'm thrilled to say that I feel awesome and believe my body shape is appropriate for my frame now and I'm much more conscious of staying on track with eating right and exercising because I'm so happy with my results. I truly have all faith in Dr. Perrotta and his group and look forward to having my TT there in the near future. Thank you for everything!

I am going in for my full TT with Muscle tightening and hernia repair on Tuesday!! Very excited. I am the mother to 2 wonderful kiddos who were also ginormous babies! I only showed in my belly and my belly just didn't bounce back after last pregnancy, and it's been 3 years of lots of crunches and sit ups. A plus is I have a stretched out tattoo on my belly that will also go bye-bye!!

Pod 8 and I'm feeling like myself again. Still wearing binder until 4 weeks out. No regrets!!

He made the scars disappear that were left by another surgeon in town who did the initial facelift. I'm not exaggerating, you have to really stare to find scars and even then, most of it is impossible to detect. Before I saw Dr. Perrotta, my face was left with obvious Frankenstein scars that had not improved within a year and I was unable to wear my hair any other way but down over the scars to hide them. There were many problems created by the other surgeon's work which left a disaster, yet Dr. Perrotta was able to revise and repair the other facelift, as if erasing evidence that the previous facelift ever happened. It took three separate surgeries to fix what the other surgeon had done to my face. Not only has Dr. Perrotta now given me the facelift I dreamed about, some of my previous facelift's painful, distorted scars were skillfully revised by Dr. Perrotta, leaving me finally pain free and looking fantastic.

So, by now I'm sure you're wondering why I didn't seek him out in the beginning and save myself the misery from the other doctor's incompetent work. Instead of seeking out a doctor based on technical skills, foolishly I had asked my dermatologist who I thought would have seen results from plastic surgeons in town, after all she deals with skin all day long. I asked for her to tell me who would she allow to cut on her face if she were seeking a facelift, not who she likes to refer people to, but who would she let perform surgery upon her face. What a mistake, to put it mildly, as I was sent to someone for my initial facelift who obviously didn't graduate near the top of his class nor did he have skills any better than my veterinarian. The following year was a nightmare that I could write a book on, however let me save you the time and lead you to the plastic surgeon who is the best, the "cream of the crop", Dr. Vincent Perrotta.
