After the birth of my 2nd son 25 yrs ago, I went from a C to a DD. Granted that my breast are not extremely large but my frame is small (size 6) and I've been dealing with back, neck & shoulder pain for many years now, but even before any pain symptoms I always been uncomfortably self conscious of my size. I have discussed with my PC on a small C.

Good luck! I feel you, I'm 5'2 and 130lbs and feel like mine aren't nearly as big as I've seen on here, but they cause me so much pain and self consciousness. I look forward to hearing more from you. My consult is 10/31. I'm in Canada, so my surgery won't be for another 6-12 months.

Markings all done by PS; heading to the surgery room shortly. My husband and I have prayed and I am feeling very calm.

Post Op - Day 1

Breast reduction, lift & lipo surgery yesterday went well. Surgery was 2 1/2 hours. Slept most of the day from anesthesia and pain meds. Some tenderness today but not too bad and a little bleeding on one breast which told was normal. Didn't like the side effect of Percocet so PS switched me to high dose of regular Tylenol. Can't take my gauze or retainer bra off for 3 days, can't wait to see the girls.

Rest well. Excellent to have the surgery behind you. Looking forward to more recovery updates and photos. I have similar measurements as you did and am still contemplating options. Thank you so much for sharing your story!

Just had my B/R done 10/24th......chronic back pain (3 surgeries)...and both shoulders repaired rotator cuff injuries.....finally decided to do the surgery, from DD to a C cup...I had been a DDD for years, but lost 25 lbs this past year. Pain has been tolerable with percocet, and I go back for post-op apt. on 11/1st......they look small for a C...and not "shapely" yet...surgeon had told me that may take awhile (a couple of months) for things to settle in...I'll find out in two days!! I already feel so much less stress on my back & shoulder....wish I had done this 15 yrs ago....by the way, I just had my 63rd birthday...Good luck with your results!
