I first had implants to put back what my first child took after I stopped breast feeding. I thought I needed a lift. But a breast lift at 23?! Really!!! My old ps said I didn't need one so I just got saline implants. I lived with those implants now for 9 years. I wasn't in love with first results but it was better than what I had before. So after my second child, I did not breast feed my second child and I watched my weight gain during the pregnancy, unlike my first one! I only gained 5 pounds but when my breasts filled with milk. They got HUGE!!! So after the milk went away I walk left with both breast implants that were not even on my chest anymore. They had both bottomed out! I knew I needed a breast lift. So finally I did it! I kept my old implants. Why not they are still good! I had an anchor lift with adm to help the implants from bottoming out. So far it's only been 2 weeks but my breasts are as perky as the were when I was 21. So far so good

I'm so glad I came across your post! I had the same exact situation. BA before, never liked the results. I wanted a lift then but my PS said I didn't need one. Flash forward to now and I'm getting an anchor lift using my same implants. It's hard to find stories like ours! I actually had a few people day it was stupid to use the same implants. But oh well! They are still good! :)

I've been on here looking for woman similar to my issues as well and who kept their implants. Lol. There was nothing wrong with them. Why pay extra money for new ones?! Plus the extra money was going into adm for my I guess you could say. A built in bra. How far out are you?

My surgery is May 2nd! My Pre-Op is next Monday. I can't wait. How are yours healing? Did you find having a lift was more painful than the previous BA?

Good luck. It's right around the corner! Mine are healing good. There is a difference between my first surgery and my second. When I woke up from my first one. I was in so much pain. So much! Waking up from my second according to my husband I was yelling about things and telling everybody I loved them. I remember some pain but i noticed it more when I moved than when I was just sitting there. I also had drains put in with this surgery. My right stain didn't bother me. My left one wasn't comfortable but I knew it was for the better, to help me heal. I didn't bruise at all. Barely any swelling. My main suggestion is- when you go to get up after surgery, have somebody place their hand behind your back and pull you up. That was the main thing I was like uhhhh about. But to answer your question. I find the second surgery easier. I regretted my first surgery as soon as I opened my eyes due to the pain. My lift. I only regretted that about 8 days in for a day or 2 because you can't really do anything but relax and heal. I hate sitting and laying still lol.

Hello! Thank you for posting your story on here! I find it super interesting and didn't even know that the same implants may be reused...of course doctors do not tell us this probably because they make a small profit from every new implant that they sell. (My guess) Anyhoo, your breasts turned out looking excellent!! Congrats :D
I'm 6wks PostOp today from my revision/lift surgery and I'm super happy thus far with my results as well.
Question- Do you know if your implants had to be sterilized before putting them back into your body during surgery? And if so, what kind of sterilization did they use? I'm just super curious on how this works. If I ever needed another revision or just more of a lift in the future I will save the money and use my current implants again as well!

Itchy and sore

I've been very itchy in-between my boobs, almost like a sunburn feeling. I don't know if it's normal...I'm just assuming it's from my skin stretching. Also where my drains were put in, it still hurts. It's been 14 days PO and they still hurt. So far so good other than that. I cleaned my house yesterday and I'm sore from that as well. I'm just going crazy not being able to do much!

I'm little over a month out now. I'm not itchy anymore. I had a revision this past Monday on my right areola so I get those stitches out this Monday. So of course my right boob is tender but I'm feeling a lot more like myself than I did 2 weeks ago! Thank goodness. I had adm stitched to my ribs to hold the implant up so my ribs are Actually still sore :( I'm waiting to see if I drop anymore or how I'll be at 6 weeks or 6 months. It's still hard to get comfortable enough to sleep. How about you? (:

I want to say around 370. I had no breast fat at all after breast feeding my first child. So I had so much skin to fill up. I had my breast implants 9 years ago so it's hard to give the correct cc's. When I got my BL 5 weeks ago. I used the same implants. Wish I could be more help!
