21F, Can't Wait for This Surgery! - Salisbury, MD

Hello! I'm brand new to this so this first review will be pretty short! I have been wanting my nose fixed since middle school. I have always been picked on in school, and I never had a guy that liked me in middle or high school simply because of my nose. I even had one classmate leave the room and say bye to everyone and then turned to me and said bye big nose. So needless to say I feel very insecure. I like to think I look decent otherwise (besides my nose ) ... I have about 5 days left before surgery (gotta be there at 6:45a and it starts around 730a) on the 7th. At this point I really don't care what my nose looks like as long as it looks like a normal nose that doesn't stand out anymore. My worries are the possible but rare side effects from surgery like stroke blood clot heart attack death. It makes me very nervous.

Time seems to be going be so slow. I found an app where I could change my nose shape. I'm not the best artist but I would Love to have a result similar to this!

So this whole week, even up until yesterday , time has felt as if it was going by super slow. Then I woke up this morning and BAM it hit me, this is the last day i'll have my "normal" nose. Now I'm actually starting to worry about the recovery process, especially the first ten or so days with the cast on and the major healing being as I only have a baby sitter (my grandmother) for the first 2 days and I have a 21 pound one year old that likes to be held lol. I'm also scared that he won't recognize me. Especially with the bandages and bruising. I don't want him to think I'm not his mommy anymore :( ... I chose to do it now because timing seems right. I have a job where I work at home and I make my own schedule and I wanted to do it before I started going back to college so I wouldn't miss any time. Otherwise I wouldn't have done it while my son is so young... Another thing is (tmi warning!) my period is a week late. I've took over 6 pregnancy tests all with a clear negative! Thank god in this situation. Even tried different brands. I was sick last Sunday and just recently started working out again so maybe that changed it? I've been WAY more stressed out than this before so that can't be it. I'm not telling them though. I feel as long as my tests say negative, I shouldn't postpone the surgery. Especially last minute. I'm taking another standard procedure preg test at the doctors tomorrow morning anyway. I just hope I'm not going through super early menopause !! Lol!! That's about all that's been in my mind so far ... I may update between tonight and very early tomorrow morning. My scheduled arrival time is 6:45am eastern USA time and I'm suppose to start surgery around 730a. So hopefully everything will go as planned. Talk to you later! ????
