My treatment with Dr Bayati took place over six months and involved a full facial rejuvenation, including CO2 laser resurfacing, Endolift, filler and Botox. It was a long road that included significant downtime, but the end results far exceeded my expectations. The shape of my face, and the texture of my skin, is noticeably improved. I have included more details of my treatment below, but the takeaway from this review is that Dr Bayati is a highly skilled physician and I would recommend him without hesitation. I first went to see Dr Bayati in July 2024. I'd had a full facelift and fat transfer to my cheeks several years earlier which had detrimentally altered the shape of my face. The filler was uneven and I had signifcant asymmetry. My once-coveted cheek bones had disappered and the bottom of my face, especially the right side, was fuller and heavier. According to Dr Bayati, complications with facial fat transfers are increasingly common. I had never heard of Endolift before, but this highly specialised laser treatment can dissolve facial fat and re-contour a patient's face. My initial consultation with Dr Bayati felt truly collaborative and together we drew up a treatment plan that involved a full facial rejuvenation. My first treatment was the CO2 laser resurfacing (to improve the overall texture of my skin). This was quite a painful procedure if I'm honest, and is not for the faint-hearted. Downtime was about 7-10 days and during that time the entire top layer of my skin peeled off, revealing fresh and delicate skin below. Results were visible almost immedaitely but now, six months on, I continue to see improvements in the overall texture of my skin brought about, so I am told, by the stimulation of collagen. I wouldn't necessarily want to put myself throught this treatment again, but now that I have, I'm very pleased with the results. My next visit involved the Endolift treatment. Having had various laser treatments before I was unprepared at the invasiveness of this procedure. If you are considering Endolift, please check out the credentials of your physician very carefully. Dr Bayati is highly skilled and one of the leading practitioners of Endolift so you are in safe hands. There was considerable swelling immediately after the treatment so it took a few days to notice any changes, but after a couple of weeks I could tell that the shape of my lower face was noticeably slimmer. During my review a couple of months' later, we both agreed that the right side of my face was still a little fuller and so we decided to repeat the Endolift procedure again to this area. Due to the nature of my fat transfer, this was a highly complex procedure. Dr Bayati had to penetrate deep below the dermis in order to reach the fat. Whilst the procedure was successful in terms of dissolving the fat, the heat from the laser damaged my buccal nerve in the process. As I was to discover, the buccal nerve, located in the cheek area, is essential for smiling and closing one's eye. Damage such as this is incredibly rare. It has taken several months for the nerve to repair but I am now almost completly recovered. Obviously, this was devastating at the time, and for several weeks, if not months, I went into hiding. But rather than focus on the negatives of this experience, I want to concentrate on the unwavering support I received from Dr Bayati. There are always risks involved with treatments such as this, but what matters is how you are treated when things do go wrong. I felt that Dr Bayati was with me every step of the way. We communicated regularly on my progress and he offered endless reassurance when I needed it most. I have honestly never experienced a level of care like it, it was exceptional. And my God, the results are unbelievable and I don't give praise like that lightly. By now firm friends, my final reward was to have filler and Botox. Again, I want to highlight the skill of Dr Bayati in his placement of the filler. He gave me back my cheek bones! The results were subtle and natural, with a little tweak here and a little tweak there. So many practitioners get this wrong and overdo it. I am so happy with the end results, I feel like my old self again and my confidence has increased. And he's SUCH A NICE GUY. Honestly, just go and see him. You won't be disappointed.
After spending months grappling with the disappointing results of fat dissolving injections, which left my chin and jawline noticeably uneven, I felt stuck and increasingly despondent. My journey towards rectifying this led me to Dr Bayati, the lead Endolift trainer, and let me tell you, the experience was nothing short of transformative. From the very first consultation, Dr Bayati set realistic expectations, alleviating my apprehensions. His command over the science and art of Endolift is unparalleled, and it's evident he is in a league of his own. He knows precisely how to manipulate energy levels to target the right areas, achieving extraordinary results that I couldn't have even hoped for. Having scoured London for practitioners, I've seen my fair share of poor work. Dr Bayati's results are a breath of fresh air in an industry that, quite frankly, can be hit or miss. His adeptness not only lies in his technical skills but also in his eye for aesthetic detail. He truly is an artist in his field. What sets Dr Bayati apart, even more, is his authenticity. He is a genuinely caring physician who prioritises his patients' wellbeing above all else. He will tell you the truth, whether it's what you want to hear or not, and that's something exceedingly rare these days. If you're considering undergoing an Endolift procedure, or if you've had one with less-than-stellar results, do yourself a favour and book an appointment with Dr Bayati. While you can certainly marvel at his work on Instagram, nothing compares to experiencing his skill firsthand. I couldn't be happier with my results and I hope this review serves as a strong recommendation for anyone still on the fence. Dr Bayati is truly exceptional, and I couldn't recommend him more highly.
I signed up for the procedure after reading Elena's review on RS (titled: Endolift in late 30s). I consulted 2 other providers but I was most comfortable with Dr Bayati, not to mention Dr Bayati''s charges were very competitive, in fact in one case half the price (Dr Deniz K @Harley st. quoted me a ridiculous amount of £5.5k). However... when it comes to my face its not just about the amount of money, it boils down to who I feel is the best person for the job. Dr Bayati is the nominated trainer in UK for Endolift and trains other aestheticians. He simply stood out as the most capable, professional and knowledgeable from the day I met him. And I am so pleased with my choice. I had a ridge under one eye from ancient filler that hadn't budged despite several Hylaise attempts. Overall, my face was looking bloated and aged. Dr Bayati was very honest and managed my expectations well. I have thicker skin compare to others, and he made me aware that the procedure may not be as successful in reducing fat as it would be for someone with thinner skin and looser fat. Despite the reservations I decided to go ahead. The procedure itself was painless. The only painful part was the numbing injections. After the procedure, I didn't see any immediate improvement (like some videos on social media claim). I was given aftercare instructions and cream. I took a week off work, but swelling took 2 weeks for the swelling to subside. No one else at work noticed or maybe they were too polite to say anything. I am now nearly 3 months post procedure. My face is slimmer, as if I had buccal fat removal and the skin feels shinier - most importantly the ridge under my eye has reduced by 80%. I went back for the review and Dr Bayati was also very pleased with the result. My only regret is that I should have included cheeks into the treatment. Although I paid for the full face, Dr Bayati suggested it will be a good idea to reserve the fullness of the cheeks, I agreed. Now, I wish I had the cheeks done as well ... as things look slightly out of proportion to me, but I am a perfectionist. Cheeks cover the largest part of the face. And having experienced the tightening effect and skin illumination in other areas of my face, I want it for my cheeks too. In all fairness, after the procedure when talking me through the aftercare regime, Dr Bayati said that I could come back for touch up if needed and I plan to go back for round 2 to cover the areas that were missed. Since the procedure, I have also gone back to Dr Bayati for nasal tip filler and botox to lift the corner of my mouth. Very happy with his skills and eye for aesthetics. I have found my Dr for life. Couldn't recommend him highly enough!
I have always had a wide fleshy face and after I hit 36 I started to notice increasing mid-face sagging that resulted in deep nasolabial folds that could no longer be addressed with filler. I tried two sessions of HiFu and saw zero effect. Thread lifts sounded good but a few doctors discouraged me since the effects don't last and the material stays behind. I was scared of face lift downtime but heard of a laser option that seemed milder, with the added bonus of some targeted fat melting. I booked this somewhat flippantly, expecting not much downtime and what little I could find online suggested I could resume activities in a day or two. The procedure was much more intense than I expected: it started with 6 cannulas deep into my face (like for a cheek filler) with ledocaine that stang as it dissipated. Afterwards I was grateful for the numbing since for the next 45 minutes my face was violently penetrated with a thin laser. It was tolerable but not comfortable, reminded me of cheek filler procedure but because of the length of it I didn't feel great. There were also some occasional hot spots and constant cracking of melting fat. If I had to do it again I would take a tranquiliser and some strong pain killer in advance. The doctor found that one side of my face had more fat and worked on it longer and also really focused on my jaw line to make it more defined. After the procedure my face looked really comical and double its size, with some scratch-mark looking lines that calmed down quickly. I felt very self-conscious and just wanted to get home and put some ice packs on. Updated on 18 Jun 2022: I iced the night before, slept on two pillows wearing a bandage and still woke up comically swollen the next day. The face felt tight like a drum, still numb and hard to the touch. No visible bruising though. I also wasn't in any pain, just discomfort from the swelling. The following day I had to be at work but the swelling didn't improve and I felt really self-conscious. I wore a mask at work all day and eventually all week. I didn't want to be around people due to feeling self-consious. Updated on 18 Jun 2022: I was swollen all of the first week, with very marginal improvements. The swelling was strongest in the morning but better by night. My mood is very affected by how I look so mentally it was a struggle. I skipped any social functions including my usual group exercise and wore a mask around people. Still no pain or discomfort but the face felt very numb, like when it was numbed by lidocaine. Hard to touch and I felt some hard lumps under the swelling. Still icing, wearing a bandage and tried my microcurrent device that felt very weird on a numb face. Updated on 19 Jun 2022: So the endolift itself is a new procedure and proprietary to one Italian company. The doctor told me it is especially useful for jawline definition and double chin reduction as well as some body procedures (tummy tightening and cellulite) which is why I really struggled to find a category for it on realself since it may as well be liposuction-adjacent. The effect I am looking for is slight tightening which may occur in response to trauma as well as some new collagen production over time. Results are supposed to be most visible 3-6 months post but the doctor has posted some really good results 6 weeks post on his instagram. Updated on 24 Jun 2022: Second week has been a breeze. My face still feels pretty numb, hard and lumpy but the swelling has gone down a lot and I think my face looks slimmer and more defined now than before endolift. When the sensation started to return my face felt a bit tender to touch, like a healing bruise bit really nothing compared to the first week. The only place where I still have swelling is under the chin so it looks like I have a fold there. I didn't have any visible marks or bruises apart from under my chin and it turned out to be a mild burn, not a bruise. Updated on 14 Jul 2022: So far I am not blown away by the results but it is probably too early. I still have numb and sensitive areas on my lower face and especially under the chin. Jawline is also not looking much different, plus there's a hard lump underneath, possibly swelling or just trauma to tissue. I do like my slightly slimmed down face but wonder if it's just a temporary effect. My annoying nasolabial fold hasn't changed one bit yet or possibly even got worse and that's all I can see in certain light. I wanted to wait but it looks like I may give in and get filler again before I see the final result. Updated on 13 Nov 2022: So it's been a few months and the results so far have been subtle but noticeable - perhaps only to me since I scrutinise my face a lot. I saw my doctor a few months post to have filler in nasolabial folds and he showed me my before pictures, the fat loss around the jaw was pretty drastic. I also see an overall very slight lift in my face and my face looks more contoured, with more shadows and definition. Some negatives: 1) With less fat in my lower face I notice my platysma bands and masseter muscles (I clench my jaw a lot) a lot more than before. I am thinking of addressing both with botox at some point. 2) I was worried about fat loss in the mid face but it hasn't been substantial so far. However, the fat loss was somehow random and I have some shadows in "masculine" places due to my bone structure. My doctor advised me to do some face contouring with targeted cheek filler and jaw botox at some point to achieve that v-shape. However, so far I am happy I had it done. My only other option was threads and I am hearing too many negatives about them. I also always wanted a slimmer face and this seems to be a great procedure for that. Updated on 4 Feb 2023: My final verdict is that I have put this treatment in the wrong category at Realself. It was sold to me as a face lifting procedure, however, any lift I saw from it was way too subtle to notice even for me. I still saw my mid face sagging and heavy nasolabial folds not improving one bit. I have just got Aptos threads in the mid face and the lifting was instant and just what I was hoping to get from the endolift - much cheaper too and a more comfortable treatment. However, as a fat reducing procedure it was good and I enjoy having a slimmer face. Just wish they didn't throw the face lifting claims in, then I would have had realistic expectations. I do think it is overpriced for what it is.
Hi The impact of dermal filler on the function of the lymphatic channels and drainage in the face is not entirely known and there are no robust imaging studies to answer this. Because we are seeing more patients with fluid retention and puffiness related to historic filler treatment, an emerging theory is that excessive application of filler may disrupt the natural flow and drainage of fluid via the lymphatic system. It is still largely hypothesis rather than clinically proven. Ultrasound or MRI scanning can help with filler mapping to guide targeted dissolving of problem areas where one may be noticing puffiness or fluid retention. This is currently a better approach than 'blind' dissolving regions of the face. I hope the above helps. Best WishesDr Bayati, LONDON
