Endolift to Melt Old Filler and Facial Fat
I signed up for the procedure after reading Elena's review on RS (titled: Endolift in late 30s). I consulted 2 other providers but I was most comfortable with Dr Bayati, not to mention Dr Bayati''s charges were very competitive, in fact in one case half the price (Dr Deniz K @Harley st. quoted me a ridiculous amount of £5.5k).
However... when it comes to my face its not just about the amount of money, it boils down to who I feel is the best person for the job. Dr Bayati is the nominated trainer in UK for Endolift and trains other aestheticians. He simply stood out as the most capable, professional and knowledgeable from the day I met him. And I am so pleased with my choice.
I had a ridge under one eye from ancient filler that hadn't budged despite several Hylaise attempts. Overall, my face was looking bloated and aged.
Dr Bayati was very honest and managed my expectations well. I have thicker skin compare to others, and he made me aware that the procedure may not be as successful in reducing fat as it would be for someone with thinner skin and looser fat. Despite the reservations I decided to go ahead.
The procedure itself was painless. The only painful part was the numbing injections. After the procedure, I didn't see any immediate improvement (like some videos on social media claim). I was given aftercare instructions and cream.
I took a week off work, but swelling took 2 weeks for the swelling to subside. No one else at work noticed or maybe they were too polite to say anything.
I am now nearly 3 months post procedure. My face is slimmer, as if I had buccal fat removal and the skin feels shinier - most importantly the ridge under my eye has reduced by 80%. I went back for the review and Dr Bayati was also very pleased with the result.
My only regret is that I should have included cheeks into the treatment. Although I paid for the full face, Dr Bayati suggested it will be a good idea to reserve the fullness of the cheeks, I agreed. Now, I wish I had the cheeks done as well ... as things look slightly out of proportion to me, but I am a perfectionist.
Cheeks cover the largest part of the face. And having experienced the tightening effect and skin illumination in other areas of my face, I want it for my cheeks too.
In all fairness, after the procedure when talking me through the aftercare regime, Dr Bayati said that I could come back for touch up if needed and I plan to go back for round 2 to cover the areas that were missed.
Since the procedure, I have also gone back to Dr Bayati for nasal tip filler and botox to lift the corner of my mouth. Very happy with his skills and eye for aesthetics. I have found my Dr for life. Couldn't recommend him highly enough!
