Endolift in late 30s - more intense than I expected

This procedure really belongs in the fat reduction category

My final verdict is that I have put this treatment in the wrong category at Realself. It was sold to me as a face lifting procedure, however, any lift I saw from it was way too subtle to notice even for me. I still saw my mid face sagging and heavy nasolabial folds not improving one bit. I have just got Aptos threads in the mid face and the lifting was instant and just what I was hoping to get from the endolift - much cheaper too and a more comfortable treatment.
However, as a fat reducing procedure it was good and I enjoy having a slimmer face. Just wish they didn't throw the face lifting claims in, then I would have had realistic expectations. I do think it is overpriced for what it is.

Overall glad that I had the procedure but don't expect miracles

So it's been a few months and the results so far have been subtle but noticeable - perhaps only to me since I scrutinise my face a lot. I saw my doctor a few months post to have filler in nasolabial folds and he showed me my before pictures, the fat loss around the jaw was pretty drastic. I also see an overall very slight lift in my face and my face looks more contoured, with more shadows and definition.
Some negatives: 1) With less fat in my lower face I notice my platysma bands and masseter muscles (I clench my jaw a lot) a lot more than before. I am thinking of addressing both with botox at some point.
2) I was worried about fat loss in the mid face but it hasn't been substantial so far. However, the fat loss was somehow random and I have some shadows in "masculine" places due to my bone structure. My doctor advised me to do some face contouring with targeted cheek filler and jaw botox at some point to achieve that v-shape.
However, so far I am happy I had it done. My only other option was threads and I am hearing too many negatives about them. I also always wanted a slimmer face and this seems to be a great procedure for that.

Thank you for sharing! It's now been a month since my Endolift treatment with Dr Bayati. I'm very happy with how things are going so far, starting to see improvements and it's not drastic too, quite natural which is what I wanted. By the way you look amazing!

Hello thank you so much for your explanation I just go the same endolift and I’m worried when does the swelling stopped with you? And can we get a picture of you before the endolift ? Thanks a lot I’m very scared so it will help me a lot :)

Hey! How is your swelling going? I had mine done in November and it feels like I'm still swollen...

Did your numbness disappear?

Hello! Sorry to ask so much time after. But how long for your lumps to be gone? I am day 10 and it seems my lump got harder.

Thanks for replying. I feel like that now some days look so bad and others no.

I just had my Endolift procedure last week and it looks like I had a stroke, my mouth is crooked, still swollen and bruised. I am worried this is permanent and I won’t get my nice smile back :(

No major changes at over 1 month

So far I am not blown away by the results but it is probably too early. I still have numb and sensitive areas on my lower face and especially under the chin. Jawline is also not looking much different, plus there's a hard lump underneath, possibly swelling or just trauma to tissue. I do like my slightly slimmed down face but wonder if it's just a temporary effect.
My annoying nasolabial fold hasn't changed one bit yet or possibly even got worse and that's all I can see in certain light. I wanted to wait but it looks like I may give in and get filler again before I see the final result.

How is your results now a month later ! This is so helpful - I also seem swollen and there’s not much out there online to see progression

I still have numb and sensitive areas even over a month post but the worst of the swelling was gone after 1 week. Not seeing any results yet but I think it may be too early.

It is indeed too early as your surgeon probably told you? The results start to really show after 3 months. I had (jawline) endolift combined with fat reduction on the 12th July and I definitely saw some improvement right away in terms on skin tightening (took 1 week for the swelling to subside). It feels/looks firmer. But the fat reduction and collagen building will only start in a couple of months. From a website describing what to expect from endolift: "It is possible to see immediate results straight after treatment, however you may have some mild swelling from the anaesthetic and the handling of the skin's tissue. After 3 months you will begin to appreciate further skin tightening (and fat reduction if performed) as the process of collagen stimulation has begun. After 9-12 months you can appreciate your final result as the collagen proteins mature, improving the skin's structure." So hang in there, you will get results, just be patient as it'll take months to really show.

Thank you, that’s really encouraging and great to hear you liked your result!

12 months in California is the time frame that you have no legal recourse, FYI

Hi I am thinking to have Endolift done at Bayati Clinic and I wondered what your experience was and an update on your results would be great!
November 13, 2022
Hi, I am about to post an update, Dr Bayati is amazing and very skilled, I highly recommend him! The results I have seen so far are very subtle but I am overall pleased.

Hey! I had endolift done 2.5 months ago. I'm 37, quite pale complection, smoker with good skin and not many visible signs of ageing (yet). I was hoping to build up some extra collagen and to get rid of the double/saggy chin.
2.5months on, my face is still a bit numb and accationaly tender to touch. I am yet to see/feel any difference on my face however my chin has definitely less fat (to touch, but look wise it seems the same?) and jowl has a tiny bit more definition.
Skin: so far no visible results
Jowl and chin: skin laxity improvement: 5-10% better
Chin fat: 50% less
I was made aware that due to my age and good skin results might not be as visible as on older patients.
Ps: there are not many reviews on this procedure online, however this review is pretty spot on and in line with my own experience.
Don't be fooled this is definitely not a lunch time procedure. Non-invasive procedure with no downtime? Maybe in comparison to a real face-lift! Swelling was pretty large and noticable and lasted about 7-10 days. Luckily I had no bruising, only a very mild discomfort after.

I agree 100% with your comment. The results I have seen have been very subtle and not comparable to a facelift but I am happy I had it done - I feel that I look better and my face is more defined. Was a bit of a shock regarding swelling.

July 19, 2023
I agree about the swelling. I had it done 5 days ago & it’s just starting to get better. I couldn’t work till 6 day w/ the amount of swelling I had since I work in customer service & was too embarrassed. I was sold on it being a lifting procedure but some comments worry me that it’s not so lifting after all. It’s too expensive to not to get the results wanted u know? Hopefully all will be well.

had a endo lift a week ago, it made my mouth crooked, one side seems paralysed. I am so worried
November 13, 2022
Really sorry to hear that, my doctor told me that was a possible side effect and I was a bit scared! Hope your doctor can help fix that.
November 16, 2022
By this surgeon? There are about 15 people that have left face asymmetries & one notable CEO that posted to his IG, that had them removed her video, photos.
November 16, 2022
Is it your LEFT side? He has issues with this. Lots of unhappy ladies, all left side issues.

Oh my gosh Kassipu. That is scary. Did you have the ending lift done on your cheeks? I am considering it for over-filled cheeks from a fat transfer. Who did the work? Hopefully you can get some help to fix it on this site

How is your mouth now? I got it done 6 days ago n noticed this too but assumed it’s the numbness & swelling causing it. Too soon to tell what is permanent. How r u liking the procedure now?
September 13, 2023
I had the Endolift done last week and my mouth is crooked too and feels like the right side is paralyzed. What ended up happening to you? Interested to hear how you made out?

I had the procedure done last week and my smile is crooked as well? Feel like I’m paralyzed on the right side of my face. Did this go away for you?
