I had my consultation with Dr. Mario Luc and it went extremely well. I was shocked to find out that I could not do implants with my breast lift due to the advanced stage of sagging I have and to ensure proper healing it is better to have a two staged approach. I totally trust my doctors opinion and I know that it is 100% safe. The nurses at the initial consultation were very task oriented and didn’t spend much time with me, but Dr Luc answered all my questions, made me feel confident and gave ample time to the consultation. I love how serious he takes his work and is very serious in answering the questions. I personally prefer this to a extremely friendly doctor that jokes around. I wanted to see photos of his previous work where I found it strange they do not have an « album » of photos to show patients, but rather I had to sit in the office with the lady who takes care of payments as she browsed through patient database and pulled up photos. Unfortunately I saw each of the patients face and full name as she showed me the photos which I found extremely bad and goes against confidentiality. I think I will mention it to the nurse to take note of Updated on 18 Mar 2023: I had my pre op appointment with Laurence, she was absolutely amazing and explained everything in detail. She reassured all my concerns and answered all my questions. I was anxious to have the procedure done under sedation but she went over everything in detail and I really felt comfortable at the end. She treated me so well and had a really good approach to patients. I am so grateful to have had the appointment with her as my initial appointment the nurses weren’t as approachable. Fantastic nurse and service! Updated on 18 Mar 2023: The day of surgery went unbelievably well. The entire staff were so kind and Dr. Luc was amazing. I love his confidence and ethical approach he is truly a professional surgeon. I left my life in his hands and I knew he was going to do the absolute best for my complex case of breast lift. I am already beyond happy with the results I cannot believe this is me! Pain on day 2 was the worst, the nurse called to check in on me and answered all my questions. I stopped narcotics on day 4 as pain was very well controlled with the prescribed medication and Tylenol. I had my post op appointment with Laurence where she removed my bandages and said everything is looking great. I have a ripple on my left side which I hope goes away, everything is still very swollen and already looks fantastic. I’m so happy!! Updated on 21 Mar 2023: My photos didn’t upload the last update, here we are post op, doing amazing and the results are beyond impressive! It is the best decision I have ever made I am currently 10 days post op and pain is 2/10, swelling and bruising is going down but still very present. The ripple on my left side is decreasing as well which I am very happy about. I will post more photos when the dressings come off Updated on 16 Apr 2023: Infection is gone, I had to take a Clindamycin four times a day for 7 days, all the bandages are off, swelling is down. I just can’t believe my eyes when I look in the mirror. Dr Luc is outstanding and so very kind. He is always available off hours when things aren’t going too well and takes the time to answer all questions in person. He has changed my life and I am forever grateful. 100% reccomend him, best plastic surgeon in Quebec! Updated on 12 Sep 2023: I could not be happier with my results, they are absolutely perfect. I had my consultation with Dr.Luc for breast lift + implants. It went very well, I was disappointed to know that my breasts are too low, and I cannot do the implants at the same time. After breastfeeding two children my priority #1 was the lift anyways, but I wanted the implant for volume. I know I could have gone to another surgeon, but I trusted his opinion and doing it in 2 steps would guarantee me the best results. I am so excited for my operation March 10. I went to Doctor Mario Luc after a mommy makeover with another surgeon. I previously had a tummy tuck, liposuction and breast lift. While the result were good my previous doctor was VERY conservative with the liposuction and left me quite disappointed. I ended up going for a consultation with Dr Luc a year later. He was very professional and to the point, answered all my questions and I truly felt comfortable about moving forward with a nyphoplasty and liposuction 360 with J Plasma (revinion). Rewiew of the first days.... updates are coming 485cc - under, 5'8, 135 pounds Stopping narcotics on day 3. Advil / Tylenol every 3 hours. Very limited mobility in the arms ... I have help at home with my meals and showers. Severe pain under the armpits. My post-op appointment is on day 5.

It's been YEARS since I'm thinking about having a breast augmentation. I never got the money before. I worked hard and now, I can offer this to myself. Finally! I went to another doctor a couple of months earlier and he was the worst. Not listening at all to my questions, he doesn't let his patients try sizes. Anyway, that's past me haha, and gladly! So I took an appointment with another doctor. Dr Mario Luc, in Laval. Best person ever! It's day and night with my last experience. I had another appointment with another surgeon 2 days later but I cancelled it : it was love at first sight! My appointment was right after work but I left early so I was an hour early at the clinic. Surprisingly, Dr Luc could see me 30min early :) it was really appreciated. He was very gentle, looked right into my eyes when he talked, took all the time in the world to explain everything and asked me if I had any questions. He even laughed at my jokes, that was a plus for me :) At the Innovation clinique, they have this 3D machine, Vectra, that takes photos of you and simulate your body on the computer. It's VERY impressive. See by yourself, I took 3 photos of the 3D simulation. What you see is 295cc implants. I also tried like, 420cc I think, it seemed HUGE on me hahaha like the size of my head. It was so big that I laughed. I'm really looking for a natural look. I'm tall but pretty thin so 295cc looks good on me. I may be thinking about choosing a size bigger, because of all the girls that regrets not having gone bigger.... What do you guys think? So that's that... My surgery is on October 19th, it's kind of in a long time but I'm very excited! I've never been that close to have boobs! Lol! Until then, I have a blood test to do and then another appointment with the nurse on September 26th to confirm the size I want and fill in some forms. Updated on 29 Sep 2017: I went to me pre-op appointment on September 26th and finally chose my size. I went for 330cc round silicone gel implants. As you can see in the pictures, it's not much different from the previous 295cc, the nurse said there's just a 2mm difference in the width and 1mm projection. So you see, the boobs are juste a LITTLE more closer together. I chose a bit bigger because I'm going under the muscle and I hear the muscle kind of squish down the implant a little bit. So that's it, my surgery changed and is now on October 12th, it's coming very soon! Wish me luck ???? hahaha Updated on 14 Oct 2017: Last night was a the worst so far. I woke up at 3:30 in a lot of pain. Took my dilaudid pill and waited for the pain to stop. Took almost an hour before I felt fine enough to go back to sleep. Then I woke up at around 7 and was still pretty much in pain again. I took 2 Tylenol extra strong to start the day. I'm pretty sure it's my fault, I had such a great day yesterday that I didn't take any pain med before going to bed. I'll keep that in mind! The rest of the day was just better and better. I even went to the grocery with my mom. Felt fine :) I only took another 2 Tylenol at around noon, and it's now 5:30 and don't feel like I should take another pain killer. Also. TMI. I was finally able to poop today! Thanks to my stool softener and a looooot of water. I'm very glad that I wasn't bloated for a whole week. My post-op appointment is in 2 days, I hope to feel fine enough to go by myself :) Here's some pics from today! The implants are still very high and quite hard but look kind of great I think. Updated on 15 Oct 2017: I didn't wear them a lot since I was kind of flat in them, but they still fit and it's just beautiful!!! Updated on 17 Oct 2017: Had fun today trying my old bralettes! I didn't wear them a lot before before they made me look so flat, but now I feel absolutely gorgeous in them! Updated on 17 Oct 2017: So I had my first post-op appointment yesterday morning, it was great! They removed me my bandages under the boobs and everything is going smoothly. I don't take painkillers anymore, only before going to sleep. And I think today I'll switch from dilaudid at night to Tylenol only. I feel good. I'm a 34B and sometimes C , I would love to be a 34DD after surgery , Im thinking a 400cc to 450 cc dual plan silicone , I'm not sure of the profile , moderate or hight . I reserved my first consultation on Sept 23, 2014. I can't wait to see a surgeon and get a good idea of what to get. It is difficult to choose the size and material because I don't to go too big but don't want them to look too small niether. I'm going for a natural look without them looking like tennis balls in my throat!!! I'm anxious but nervous that I finally took a first step on making this happen. FINALLY!! I always wanted a belly button reshaping as I had an outie. I had 3 consultations with different doctors here in Canada and none of them had pictures of their work. Theres no youtube videos from the pov of the patients so I felt a bit in the dark. I finally did it 15 days ago. I dont regret it, Ill join pictures and let you guys decide what you think. Updated on 25 Aug 2020: So this is what it looks like a few weeks later, I would be very curious as to what people think about the final result. I would say its better than it was. Sorry for the last two pictures, the pictures I try to post keep getting denied for being too voluminous. The first one was what it looked like before. Updated on 25 Aug 2020: Here are two more pictures of the result. Hope this gives you guys an idea of the possible outcome of umbilicoplasty. It got a bit infected at first but I was put on apo avoxi clav and it got better. I also put polysporin from time to time. Updated on 1 Mar 2025: I thought I would show what my umbilicoplasty results look like over a year later. At first it looked a bit weird, but it settled down nicely. I am glad I opted for a surgeon who only cut half of the circumference. I have a little bit of scar tissue that I would like soften with a cortisone injection but overall I am very happy with the results. Updated on 1 Mar 2025: Here is an up close of the results 4 years later. I am very pleased with the results, the slit is very narrow due to scar tissue on the side of the incision (only half of the circumference was cut), I wanna get the scar tissue soften with a cortisone injection, but still, it is much better than it was and I am happy with my slit :)
