Update 4 years later
Here is an up close of the results 4 years later. I am very pleased with the results, the slit is very narrow due to scar tissue on the side of the incision (only half of the circumference was cut), I wanna get the scar tissue soften with a cortisone injection, but still, it is much better than it was and I am happy with my slit :)
Updated Results of Umbilicoplasty
I thought I would show what my umbilicoplasty results look like over a year later. At first it looked a bit weird, but it settled down nicely. I am glad I opted for a surgeon who only cut half of the circumference. I have a little bit of scar tissue that I would like soften with a cortisone injection but overall I am very happy with the results.
One month later
Here are two more pictures of the result. Hope this gives you guys an idea of the possible outcome of umbilicoplasty. It got a bit infected at first but I was put on apo avoxi clav and it got better. I also put polysporin from time to time.
