In the last 5 weeks I have had 2 procedures with Dr. Lee and I am very happy with both!
The first was a breast implant exchange (10 yrs ago and too large and built up scar tissue)--with a breast lift.
The second procedure 2 weeks later was a facelift with mesh support under chin, fat transfer to face and lips and a lip lift. I had a facelift 14 years ago (different doctor) and a partial 8 years ago but I am much happier with this one--meaning I feel like I look better than i did back then. I'm 74 years old.
I am very happy with the results of both!

Had an explant (capsulectomy) & lift with Dr. Lee in November of 2023. Had my implants for 18 years and knew it was time to get them out. When I met with Dr. Lee he knew his stuff! He let me know I had capsular contracture, which explained a lot. I felt from the start he was the right doctor for the job. I was worried about having surgery and the outcome but the results exceeded expectations. Dr. Lee's professionalism and skilled ability gave me the exact results I was hoping for. I'm so glad I did this and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an explant and/or lift.

I met Dr Lee through friends who had done their breast augmentation with him. I saw his work and was very impressed! Our consultation was great, he made me feel very at ease. I ended up getting a “lollipop” lift as I had breast fed 3 children and I occasionally had pancake boobs. I felt like this surgery was restoring what I had lost all the years ago. I wanted to have my breasts back!
Day of the surgery was great, at Dr Lees own surgical center. Procedure was easy (I was mostly asleep!) and my recovery was great. I followed Dr Lees advice and massages thoroughly daily. I still do! I can’t say enough how happy I am to get this procedure. It has been one of the best decisions of my life. My girlfriends always tell me I have the best breast augmentation they’ve seen. I am absolutely in love with my boobs. I did 380 cc’s and if I had to do it over again I’d go the same route. I have a tiny rib cage so anything bigger wouldn’t fit my frame well, but when I take off my top, I feel as if I have “ample” :) I can’t recommend Dr Lee and his staff enough. Thank you doctor for helping me restore my self confidence.

Dr. Lee did a great job three and a half weeks ago on my explant and capsule removal. I am happy with the results. The procedure was relatively low pain and I was back to work in a week. Each day my breasts look better and I feel amazing.

I have gone to Dr. John Lee for 3 different procedures and could not be happier. I've had facial and breast work done and was so glad I made the choice to go with him. I checked out quite a few doctors before making my decision and from beginning to end the experience was wonderful. He also prices fairly too. I feel like he's given me back 20 years of my life. His staff are great, he's well practiced and highly skilled so you won't have any worries about complications. He is also straight forward and will level with you about the procedures you choose and won't just try to sell you on his services. He wants it to be right for you and to know what to expect. Dr Lee is nothing short of amazing, he has a very caring bedside manner and takes the time to hear your questions and concerns, after a long battle with some medical issues, I was referred to him from a friend and he was there to listen and offer his opinions after his consultation I knew he was the one to help me, not only does he fix the outside what he does for you mentally is something you can’t put a price on. The before and after photos look like a completely different body . His staff are the absolute sweetest and always there if ya need anything. My experience there has been the absolute best.

Ok so I’m only 3 weeks post op but figured I should write a review of my experience and be as honest as possible. First off, Dr. Lee underpromised and over-delivered. I can see such great results already. He has an art degree which I appreciated for placement of scars etc. He has been attentive whenever I’ve needed him throughout healing process. The cons which I almost took a star or two off but I don’t want to discount his skills, are the office staff. I’m only 39 and getting a neck lift is a huge deal for me and expensive too. I went through the process of asking quite a few questions and finagling quotes to see what would be the best package for me. In that process, I apparently annoyed the nurse and Gina because the tone did not feel welcoming or warm after that point. I’m disappointed that knowing how nervous I was, neither of them cared to check up on me or even follow up with me since surgery three weeks ago (unless I called in with a question) and never saw any of them on day of surgery. I ended up going with the highest package deal so seems like their time spent with me worked out and spending 18k is a nice chunk of change. For that price I suppose I expected more warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care/concern. All this to say, I still want a couple more things done but I’m hesitant to use this office based on feeling as if I’m an annoyance. Dr. Lee has surpassed my expectations and so far things are looking great (will update my review as healing goes on)

I’m almost 3 months post op and have recovered well. Still have lots of numbness. That can take a year to resolve I’ve heard. Scars look ok so far Fat transfers have died off mostly so that part is disappointing but I have a tiny bit left. I guess fillers and lasers are my next step to combat fine lines and age spots on skin

In 2002, like many 20-somethings with tiny breasts I got breast implants. Since then, minor health occurrences occurred but I never connected the dots until I found a FB page called, "Breast Implant Illness Rejuvenation and Education With Christina". There are many FB support groups out there but not all are safe (feel free to message me if you are going down this road, some pages are sponsored). Anyhow, I consulted with 5 surgeons, 3 in Portland and 2 nationally that were "the best of the best". After all of my research, Dr. Lee was still at the top of the list and local, so I went with him. He was SO PATIENT with me. At my second consult (yes, I made him consult with me twice b/c I had so many questions), he even suggested that maybe he couldn't meet my expectations (I'm in healthcare, so I know that sometimes patients want perfection and it's not always attainable). I proceeded to elaborate that I was only sharing my preferences and expectations "just in case" there were aesthetic options during the surgery... that I wanted him to know what I liked but that I knew he would do well no matter what (just the OCD in me). He agreed to do the surgery. This was very telling to me that he is not motivated by money, but by outcome. I was an AA 20 years ago before implants, C-D after implants, breastfed 2 boys. He recommended an explant/lift and did a full capsule removal (also he clarified what "en bloc" vs. "capsulectomy" is and basically (and I am in healthcare so I know how to discern the information) if all of the scar tissue is removed, that's paramount, and he absolutely does this!). I was sure I'd be skin and nipples and he didn't over promise anything but said he would do his very very best to give me symmetry. You can decide for yourself after seeing the pictures. Personally, regarding bedside manner and skill, he is the best in the nation. I have another friend who explanted/lifted with him as well and she has results just as beautiful. He has a gentle and engaged bedside manner, he listens and he cares. I truly couldn't say more about this surgeon.

Hey all! Sharing a quick photo I just took since you all have been asking! I will add more later! All is well! I am doing myofascial release with a great local physical therapist as well to keep from any scar tissue or adhesions forming to thick etc. LOVING my itty bitties! I have a 2 month post op apt in May and will update again then!

Here are my update pics. I know how scary and hard it is to decide to explant, what you might end up with, it's scary. My biggest recommendation, get a lift if it's been 20+ years and you've also breastfed babies AND find a myofacial release therapist for post surgery. My result is better than most b/c I got a lift AND one of my good friends from college is a doctor of myofacial release (Doctor of physical therapy, happy to share her info if you are in Portland) and has released fascia (adhesions, where the tissue adheres to the body and causes "indents") 2 and 5 months post surgery with her body work. It's all worth it ladies, it's a work in progress. I feel like me. Close to perfect, but I was never perfect even with implants. THESE imperfections I love, because they are me.

It's been 10 months and I still have no regrets. Every time I look in the mirror I love my itty bitties. I feel more athletic and healthy and really just prefer the look of a flatter chest than big breasts. My right breast still has a small adhesion that I have been bad about massaging or seeing my myofascial therapist about. For some reason I am just not worried about it. Someone asked if muscles were under the muscle and yes, they were.

After the mommy makeover I realized that doing these kinds of things for myself is worth every penny. The bags under my eyes made me look tired and old. I had tried creams and eye masks and and and…. Found out it’s genetic. I have been photoshopping and filtering out those ugly bags for 10 years.
I was sure scared. But thrilled when I made the decision to do it.
I did not get put under-only local anesthesia and twilight meds. I knew what was happening but didn’t care. So surreal. Super groggy going home and slept a lot the first day. It looked super creepy but I’m not sure I knew what I was expecting.
Only 4 days out and I love it!
I do wish they’d been more clear about what “don’t overdo it” means and I wish they’d been clear about how the conjuncta can swell and look like jelly. And not to freak out about it. That’s normal swelling. The eye lid swelling is normal. I didn’t know there would be a tiny single stitch in my cheek (makes sense) where he would inject the fat from where he lipo’d my tummy to add to my cheek. That came out after 2 days. The tape coming off was a huge relief on day 2.
My abdomen is super sore from the lipo that he did to add some volume where there was lacking under my eyes. The eye bags hid the depression under my eyes.
I went back 2 days later for post op.
He did say the lack of substantial bruising was miraculous. I have been pleased with that.
The itching is normal and annoying. Benadryl helps. Pain meds only at night now.
Sleeping at an incline is blah but not horrible. Not sleeping on my side is hard but manageable.
Cheeks feel bruised but that’s it. Stitches aren’t a bother at all.
I use the triple antibiotic ointment 3 times a day. $10 eye lube ointment at night. Eye lube eye drops morning and afternoon.
I think the arnica is working well too (for bruising and swelling)
