I've just had my third surgery from Dr. Pitman. He is absolutely amazing!! I had breast implants and a tummy tuck last year in two separate surgeries, and because the outcomes were so beautiful and natural, I decided to take the plunge and get an eyebrow life, bleph, and neck lift a month ago. My BFF was so impressed that she also went in to have the full works on her face as well. Both of us are extremely happy!!!! I'm in my mid-fifties and most people think I'm early 40s. I highly recommend him. (I've also learned that his ex-wife is being sued for planting false reviews about him online. It's hurt his business, I think, and that's why you can get his surgeries for very reasonable rates right now.)
Fantastic Surgeon! Spends time explaining everything, makes you feel comfortable. Available for any questions and concerns you may have. Truly an artist in his field! Highly recommend him to anyone who is even considering plastic surgery. He has also done a lot of volunteer work which impressed me even more!
I had went up to 306 during pregnancy (I'm 5'10 and was just over 200 before), and then lost 150lbs in 6 months after! I had a lot of loose skin on my thighs that was hard to correct with exercise. I am an entertainer (previous model and actress) and it was embarrassing for me. I was nervous about the scars but here we are almost 2 years later and the scars are barely visible. They are nice clean scars and were easy to hide while they were still fresh and red. I have had a laser on them a few times as I always scar pretty bad, but as you can see its looking good! I am happy and would recommend for anyone with lots of loose skin on the thighs.
My tummy tuck scar was unbalanced, and the results weren't as good as they could be. I had a mini-tummy tuck but Dr Pitman revised it with a full tummy tuck along with a breast aug and lift! Pleased with the results. I had the tummy tuck april 11 and 2 weeks later had the breast aug (500cc) and lift. The breasts took almost 4 weeks to be completely healed which was perfect because the tummy tuck took 6 weeks. I was a little bit swollen but it faded and the pain was easily managed by prescription. I remember being up and driving/running errands about 10 days or so after surgery - something I was amazed by. It's been many years since this surgery experience but everything is still nice!
I went in to check what I could do for fuller lips.Dr. Pitman recommended Juvaderm. It was virtually painless, quick, and looked awesome , gave me just the fullness I wanted , without huge price !! Recommend highly! This will give you a preview of what u would look like with lip implants, long term. My Botox experiences along with my now face lift procedure, highest of confidence in my Doc! Get a consult , you won't be sorry!
I've met some of Dr. Pitman's patients and was impressed, so I took a chance and did a tummy tuck over two weeks ago. No matter how much I dieted and exercised,my stomach always bulged. Turns out I had separated abdominals and a hernia that had never been diagnosed. Dr. Pitman did a fantastic job of fixing it, and now, for the first time in as long as I can remember, I have a flat stomach and waistline!!! He is a great surgeon and I would put him up against anyone from Beverly Hills, except his prices are much lower.

*Will try to post pre-op pictures, as well as pictures a long the way! Thighs: Outer, inner, banana roll Hips: Saddle bags, flanks, hips Lower Back Upper Back (bra roll) Arms: Auxiliary point, upper under arms Pre-surgery; Doctor said he could do all the areas I asked, even tho others had suggested it wasn't necessary. He cautioned the areas with loose skin (from significant weight loss - more than 100lbs) will be improved from lipo, but a lift may still be needed to properly correct loose skin. I understood and thought it was best to try lipo first and then do lift if necessary (would need lipo either way). He also suggested lift would go better if lipo was done separately. (I've already had a TT, mini thigh lift, breast lift/aug, lower body lift and Brazilian butt lift - only place left with loose skin is back bra roll and upper arms!) Day of Surgery: I am very nervous, as usual! I was told that I would feel cold in my arm and next thing I know I am waking up in the recovery room. The nurses are very attentive and help me put on my compression garments. They were very caring. I am in very little pain but am VERY dizzy and nauseous. I just want to sleep!! I have an allergy to codeine and have reservations about taking anything with Percocet (oxycontin, it makes me itch like crazy!) - so I was given vicodin. 1st day of surgery: Still no pain. I haven't taken any of the pain meds, but have taken a little dose of advil to deal with headaches and overheating. Still feeling kind of woozy, but am able to get in and out of bed, walk up and down stairs, and generally get around all by myself. My hands are pretty swollen, probably from all the liquids they pumped in me for lipo. All the areas lipoed have bright pink bruising and are very sore/tender to the touch - but when I am still I generally have zero pain. I continue to wear my garments. I had a large lump and bloated feeling in my stomach - but after I took some stool softener and laxative I had my first bowel movement since before surgery and am already much relieved! Walking around I feel lighter, like I have lost weight - and looking in the mirror I already notice a difference in my shape. If this is me swollen, I can't wait to see my final results! There was some drainage of red liquid on my sheets, mostly from my upper arms. I am taking antibiotic and steroid for healing every 6 hours. I'm eating normal and drinking lots of liquids. I'm avoiding over-processed foods but generally not counting my calories. My body needs energy for healing!! Lots of fresh fruit/veg, smoothies, nuts, seeds, healthy oils (avocado, hummus), almond/coconut milk. I am avoiding too much dairy or meat because I am concerned about first flushing all of the toxins out from surgery meds - I hate this dizzy woozy feeling! I have had one meat meal tho, as doctor suggests the red meat will really help me heal. I also allow myself some sugar because its keeps my mood up and my blood sugar at a good level. Liquids, liquids, liquids! I like (real) juice and smoothies because sometimes water is sooo boring to try and get down! The smoothies I make are packed with fruits and veg that help with detox, digestion and also - swelling!! A little research and you can figure out some good recipes too :) Cucumber in a smoothie is A++... and anything with citrus or pineapple is great for reducing swelling! *Will try to post pre-op pictures, as well as pictures a long the way! Also, I am a healthy active 28YO female from Toronto, Canada. I came all the way to Virginia because I've had surgery from both this doctor and a doctor in Toronto before and find no difference in quality - tho a huge drop in price from Toronto. People out there will pay 4500 for one area of lipo!! Crazy... Dr. Pitman charges 3500 for first area and 500 each addtional area. I am staying with a friend while out here, want to really get over the wooziness before I get back on that plane - doc says that is good for avoiding clots after surgery too. Updated on 30 Jun 2014: *I'm taking pictures daily, will upload photos with biggest changes as I go Still no pain when still. Still only taking advil here and there and no need for pain meds. Still finishing off antibiotics and steroid. I didn't mention before that I was having problems with my compression garments - they are too short for me! I'm about 5'10, then bottom half cuts into my thighs pretty bad and the top part we could even get up over my long arms. Reordered a custom top part and am currently wearing a really tight pair of spanks on the bottom. It covers my whole thighs, flanks and even most of my back! It's also much more stylish and easy to wear under my sundresses (its hot!) I am also wearing wrap bandages on my arms and around the under arms/top of my back to help compress until the garment comes. I noticed a little more bruising and pain on day 2 but feel pretty good! Went for a long walk today and carried all my groceries home. I didn't even wear the compession on my arms because they kept falling off and I still feel good! I notice my arms (where I've been draining like crazy) are already much smaller. I do notice the extra skin but the size is much improved! Basially exactly what I expected. Kind of wish all the incisions were open to drain like that but the Dr says its a high risk of infection. My arm incisions aren't actually open, just for some reason are draiing more - maybe because I move and bend my arms much more than my legs. I've started taking arnica, I can only assume its working. I also forgot to mention I avoid over salting like the plague!! I know too much salt will make you bloat even if you didn't just have surgery!! I basically feel as healthy as I did pre surgery - but I am sore to the touch, and can get fatigued if I'm doing too much. That's getting much better every day tho. SIDE NOTE: I noticed my eye is a little sore and kind of has cloudy vision. Asked doc about it, he says its not unheard of for someone to get a scratched cornea when they are being turned over during surgery. I've been given some ointment and told to rest it as much as possible. I feel great tho! And the parts that are still swollen are roughly the size I was before surgery if not smaller, and are VERY bright pink - so I am very optimistic that they will shrink to a miraculous new size over the next while! I'm going to focus on healing the bruising for now, and once its all gone I'm going to really start diet and exercising again. Don't want to accidentally gain weight from falling out of my regular routines! Updated on 2 Jul 2014: *I'm still taking pics every day to document but keep forgetting to upload them lol.. will do I promise! Just a quick update on my weight since surgery: Day 1 post op: GAINED 13lbs from before (this ALWAYS happens to me, I think it's to do with the anesthesia and all the fluids they pump thru you). I've learned not to judge the scale numbers for a while after surgery... they tend to just bum me out lol Day 2: lost 3lbs (10lbs up from preop) Think the laxative helped Day 3: lost 2lbs (8lbs up from preop) Peed a LOT this day... must be the swelling! Day 4: lost 2lbs (6lbs up from preop) Same as day before. Water (edema/swelling) weighs more than fat so trying to remain calm Looking pretty close to how I was pre surgery, smaller in some places - even tho scale says I'm heavier. Must be the swelling! SIDE NOTE: I noticed that the swelling came down a LOT more in my upper body than my lower body, a lot more drainage there. So, just as an experiment I decided to do a handstand with my feel on the wall (only try this if you are feeling strong and maybe have someone near by just incase you get lightheaded).. but I felt a rushing feeling thru my body and it felt sooo good. I could be imagining things but I feel like I was helping encourage lymphatic drainage because everything was reverted. The lymphnodes we use to drain out of our legs are near our crotch - pretty rarely do we elevate our legs above our crotch lol. ALSO I went back to the office today and had all the stitches removed. New garment still doesn't fit arms right now compress my back, waiting for 3 try to arrive in mail tomorrow!! Updated on 7 Jul 2014: So, I asked my phycisican if I could do a master cleanse and he said yes - as long as I listen to my body and don't go crazy. I'm already feeling great and don't need the extra calories anymore so, I started the pre-cleanse 2 days ago- and I feel great!! Today I woke up and noticed that since last night my bruises have gone away 50%. You will see when I post the pictures - amazing! Goal with the cleanse is to rid myself of toxins pre and during surgery, as well to help reduce and flush the edema (swelling). so far so good!! ALSO I had a routine foot massage during pedicure on Day 7 and it felt AMAZING. I felt a rushing feeling - I assume thru my lymphatic system. Doc says that my lymph nodes in my legs/feet were probably swollen which is why the massage felt so nice. I paid extra for her to massage my neck/back/arms after that and it was equally nice!! Beceause the massage went over so well I researched "lymphatic drain bath" and I added a small box of baking soda, tons of Epsom salt and a mineral bath mix to a hot bath. OMG I was in there for 2 hours and it felt like HEAVEN. Could tell it made a difference in how I felt even the next day. Will continue to post re-healing, my master cleanse and how it continues to affect the bruising and edema!! I am feeling GREAT!! Still waiting to post pics so I can crop the before and afters together nicely. Updated on 7 Jul 2014: I was also my most active the last 2 days since I had surgery, not sure if that affected my bruising going away or if it was just the cleanse. :)
I have had Restylane injected in my upper lip twice before with no complications, by the end of the day the swelling and soreness was gone and I had great results. After moving I had to find a new Dr and he offered a newer product that had the lidocaine mixed in to make it almost pain free without using a dental block. Hydrelle... First off, he very skillfully injected them and the pain was no worse than a small pinch. I left happy but noticed as the week went on that I had a lot more swelling and bruising than normal - I didn't think too much of it since I used a different product this time. Fast forward 2 weeks later and the swelling is worse not better. I am forming weird looking lumps in my lip that make me too self conscious to smile at all. I finally go back to my PS office and the nurse said she could clearly see the lumps and scheduled me into the next available appointment. By the time of my appointment to see the doctor my lip was 3x it's normal size and I was in immense pain. I was put on steroids, antibiotics, and antihistamines... The swelling still did not stop. I went back in 2 days later with my cheeks turning red and my nasal area and under my eyes getting puffy. They numbed me and went in with a syringe to try to suck out the fluids and product. I left looking almost back to normal and optimistic but by the next morning my lumpy balloon lip was back and I was in so much pain I had to give in and start taking the pain killers so that I could eat solid foods again. I had been resorting to smoothies for a few days because when anything touched my lips I wanted to cry. I go back tomorrow to see the Dr and I don't know what the next step will be. I think he is going to be injecting another product with an enzyme that will dissolve the Hydrelle out of my lip. Updated on 21 Jan 2011: My lips returned to normal after being drained about 3 times. I was severely swollen for about 3 or 4 weeks total and it was not a fun time - very painful! Once every few months there is one little spot where I know there is still product that will become irritated for a few days. Not enough for anyone to notice but me. It's been almost a year now so it will probably go away completely soon. (I hope) Once again though, stay away from this product, it's dangerous. Updated on 2 Oct 2011: It is now 18 months later and when I smile big and stretch my upper lip against my teeth I can still see tiny lumps under the skin where the product has not dissolved and is not spread even. I believe it is only noticed by myself when inspecting closely in the mirror still something to be said for still having complications this far out, almost 2 years later! Updated on 23 Jun 2017: I still have scar tissue in my lips approx 7 years later. There is a lump where the skin was stretched on one side of my upper lip that ironically enough resembles when filler is injected poorly and leaves a lump but it is not from product. Mostly visible when I mile. I have to get it smoothed out with fillers. Well, I don't have to, but I do choose to. After moving round and having o find a new doctor a few times I've often better a doing my research and picking someone who is professional, experienced, and qualified. I was much younger during this first experience and looking back so chose the wrong doctor. The allergic reaction was just bad luck but I never saw him again personally, jut the nurse for follow up when the reaction happened and thy never injected the product that could have just dissolved the filler probably to save money hen I clearly was having a severe reaction. I had follow up issues with another procedure from this dr and long story short do not just go to the first dr you visit, do your homework, and trust your gut! Side note, after using a few other fillers my current favorite is by far restlane silk for the most natural result.
Hi I was 23 when I got my bbl in Bronx,NY by Dr.Pitman. Let's start off by saying my surgery went good, I was woke and I felt little to no pain at all. Only thing I hated is when I got there they weighed me, told me I was over weight and I was suppose to lose weight before I came. I'm pretty sure I told them I was 200lbs but they had it down I was suppose to be 164 so I was suppose to get lipo360 + bbl but they only gave me Lipo in my stomach and my love handles and transferred it to my butt. I had to choose either or I was going to have to pay 1,500 extra that day, mind you I already braid them 8,300 so I wet and did and at first I was happy about my results but then my scars started keloid and I have a lot of back fat which makes it look like. I didn't get the full results I needed but other than I would never got back here and I'm planning my second surgery out the country and I'm planning on getting a tummy tuck as well
We have seen very mixed results with Cool sculpting-some people are thrilled, others see little result or have a variety of complications. You may see better results with liposuction and those procedures have very consistent repeatable results. A consultation would help as the weight gain should be discussed as well. None of the body contouring procedures are suitable for weight loss/weight control.
Give them lots of time- its a 6 month process to see how implants descend and their final position. We have our patients wear an elastic band over the top of the implants for 6 weeks minimum
I would absolutely get the oral surgery first. The showering of bacteria can affect the incisions and worse still infect the implants. Otherwise you should wait as long as possible eg 6 months.
I think you should think in terms of restoration of your body to a pre-pregnancy appearance. I would start with a tummy tuck with particular attention to repairing the separation of the lower abdominal (rectus abdominis) muscles combined with fat injections to the buttocks and liposuction of the flank or hip roll area. That will give you your waistline back and will improve your core strength. You will find your exercise tolerance improves as well. That's the first stage of the basic "mommy makeover" that I prefer. The second stage should be a breast lift on the left with augmentation of both breasts and possibly some fat injection as well to improve the upper part of the breasts. A lollipop mastopexy should do fine on the left. In addition liposuction of the lower back and upper back and fat injection of the buttock should do the trick. A lower body lift is an option as well but the scarring is significant and would need to be discussed at consultation-hard to tell from photos alone. There are significant safety issues with combining the 2 surgeries that I avoid by splitting them up.
The best way to miss the least time with the toddlers is to split up the procedures so you have shorter recovery time. There are safety issues which are also improved by dividing the procedures. It looks like the nipples are more than 2cm below the inframammary fold so I tend to prefer a lollipop type procedure but would need to measure to be sure. On the tummy tuck a mini may be the best way to go but would need to examine you. If the rectus muscles are not separated liposuction should suffice. Definately want liposuction of the flank/hip roll area tjough to restore a more feminine waistline. Hope this helps
