I had a dental implant a month ago, my stitches came out in couple of days. Now the gum looks like it cant get attached to each other because there is this little bump in between. Ive attached photos for clarity. Should I be worried? Thank you in advance.
I had an abutment with a crown placed over the implant about a month ago. Unfortunately the crown fell off and now I have the abutment exposed with the hole in it. This was done in India and I live in UK. The implantologist says that there is absolutely no problem to leave the abutment open to oral cavity and suggested to fill the opening of the abutment with teflon tape to avoid food accumulation and when I revisit India he can cover this with a screw retained prosthesis.
I got the first stage of implant surgery on March 9 today is April 4, i went back to my dr March 22 and he said to leave them in. The stitches now feel like they are in a ball in my mouth and they are nonabsorbable, I looked at them and they seem to have what looks like what puss or dots around the stitches. i go back to the dr on Monday April 9 and it is Thursday April 4 my one right gland under my neck was sore the past two days and now is not sore anymore so i go to the dr sooner
my crown and abutment screw came off almost a month ago...i did my implants in INDIA..since i'm staying in different country, i cant travel there until the end of the year..the cost of dental surgery in my country very expensive,,,can i wait till the end of the year and get it fixed in INDIA? can it still get fixed?
I had an immediate implant done a month ago, on my #8 tooth (central incisor). My doctor said that the circumstances were ideal and we did the ext/implant same day. About a week ago, I noticed that my implant felt unusual, slight twinges, nothing painful--since then I have experienced a few light pinches in the area, nothing requiring meds--mentioned to my doc who put me on antibiotic (after looking at my X-ray and not seeing anything) Should I be concerned of failure?
