I had a crown placed on top of dental implant few weeks ago. The crown is too high which caused bite ache. I just moved around and previous dentist clinic is too far away. I found a general dentist clinic nearby, but they don't have dental implant dentist. The clinic doesn't do implant treatment but they provide root canal treatment service. Since root canal requires crown placement, I assume the general dentist should able to perform high adjustment too for the dental implant's crown ?
I had a root canal done on this tooth 2 days ago. It's uncomfortable to bite down but not overly painful. My appointment is in 2 weeks. Is it worth the visit to fix a permanent crown? I have a dental phobia and the less visits the better. It was done by someone who was a beginner and took about an hour to fail at doing it so had someone come in and start the whole process over which took about 25 minutes. If it was high would they just grind it down in my mouth or take it all the way off again?
I've just had 3 new crowns inserted on my top front teeth. One (front left) looks crooked and my bottom tooth is hitting it. I complained about the it being too high and the dentist (after trying to rectify it without success) suggested waiting a week to see if the tooth moves. But only after I returned home have I realised how crooked it looks too. Any advice?
I got a crown a year ago. It was a horrible and very painful experience. The dentist numbed my whole lower face except the spot where I was getting the crown. It took several hours and I was in so much pain. When she finally got it placed I was ready to get out of there! The crown is too high and I can't bite down all be way, but I've been too scared to go back. So my question is how will the dentist fix my crown exactly? Do they have to remove it? Will it hurt?
Hello, I have a brand new crown that replaces a previous one that broke. Apart from feeling too high and too big, I have noticed it has a dark spot in the middle of it and I wonder what it is. Could that be the pivot tooth? No amount of brushing makes it go away. Thank you
