Hi! I had Coolsculpting (i believe it was called Zeltiq back then) on my abdomen in 2011. I remember it working a little bit but it causing shooting nerve pain across my stomach for about a month. Has the technology improved? If I had nerve pain back then would I likely experience it again if I did another treatment? My BMI is 21 and I exercise regularly but have about 2 inches of fat on my belly. Other than lipo, what is the best non-invasive option? Thank you in advance
Ive been considering coolsculpt but I keep reading mixed reviews so Id love to hear from the experts. I work out regularly but have stubborn lower belly fat. Would coolsculpt work for me? Any long term effects, like a shift in fat to other areas or lumpiness? Ive also read about nerve damage, is that common? Also NYC based if anyone has recommendations.
I am scheduled for a Coolsculpting procedure to remove my not very prominent saddlebags tomorrow night, but I have started to get cold feet because I am not convinced that the treatment will not injure the nerves found in the surrounding area. Many thanks beforehand for your answers!!
After CS above my navel I experienced pain and swelling followed by a bulge and bloating. A plastic surgeon found fat nodules and an internal adhesion. A GI doctor prescribed meds for stomach bloating, burning and discomfort, issues I NEVER had prior. FYI I'm 48, athletic, 5'1 and weighed 109 lbs before CS, several months later I weighed 116, barely ate and a CT scan showed my intestines were not emptying. 2 yrs later I have still have stomach issues and have been diagnosed with SIBO.
Extremely sharp burning pains and shooting pains in lower and upper abdomen from cool sculpting. Day 8 post treatment and severe pain started day 4 and hasn't subsided, am taking neurontin and it does nothing for the pain, compression and ice no longer work as pain triples as soon as I take ice off, how long is the worst case scenario of this pain? Could this be permanent nerve damage?
