Has CoolSculpting changed over the years? (Photo)

Question

Hi! I had Coolsculpting (i believe it was called Zeltiq back then) on my abdomen in 2011. I remember it working a little bit but it causing shooting nerve pain across my stomach for about a month. Has the technology improved? If I had nerve pain back then would I likely experience it again if I did another treatment? My BMI is 21 and I exercise regularly but have about 2 inches of fat on my belly. Other than lipo, what is the best non-invasive option? Thank you in advance

Yes, CoolSculpting has changed since your last treatment in 2011.  The technology has been updated and there are newer applicators.  Using these newer applicators, I have not seen any patients have the nerve pain that you had with your treatment.  I would say that you currently appear to be a good candidate for a CoolSculpting treatment.
