Coolsculpting will not cause muscle or nerve injury. For the Coolsculpting you will have to be able to get on a bed and lie in a certain position for at least an hour to 4 hours at a time. You also have to have a certain type and amount of fat to have an aesthetically pleasing result which could be discussed at the consultation. Also, I would recommend to go only to a clinic that has a physician to properly evaluate all of the medical history to ensure the safety of the whole process.
