I had an inguinal hernia repaired with mesh, via laparoscopic repair about two months ago. I wanted to get cool sculpting done around my belly button. One of the small incisions is right next to my belly button. The hernia repair was much lower and in the area of where my thigh meets groin. When is it safe for me to get cool sculpting around my belly button?
How would I know if I have one and what king of doc do I see to find out? I'm looking into getting Cool Sculpting done on my stomach. However, my stomach has a strange shape about it. Instead of just the belly fat that I can pinch, it is distended from the rib cage area as well. I remember being told after my last child was born (10 years ago) that my muscles separated in that area, so I really don't know who to see to find out what would be best for me. I am 39 years old, 5'11 and 157 lbs.
I had a triple mesh on my incisional hernia back in 2011. So far, I had no complications due to the procedure. I was told by others that due to the procedure, it possibly will pull the mesh. Although, it is a triple mesh. Is coolsculpting possible for my condition?
