Some days, I like my nose, other days not so much. I hate front photos because it looks really fleshy sometimes. However i've been to see two nose surgeons and both have acted shocked when I say I want my tip more refined - one said 'your cartilage is already close together'. My nose often looks better when weather is cold. Background info: I have rosacea, i'm 22 years old. Is there something that would help make my skin shrink more to my nose frame, think skin out etc? Co2 laser? Please help!
Thank you for your reply about my sebaceous bulbous nose. Possibly Rhinophyma? However, my nose is not distorted (yet); it only seems to have a growing bulb, which is extremely oily (within minutes of washing). Can this still be considered Rhinophyma? Could it be sebaceous hyperplasia or something else? Incidently, last year a plastic surgeon took approximately 2 minutes touching my nose and said the problem was not in my cartilage, but in the flesh. So, in lieu of the fact that the oil bothers be more than the size, is there anything that can solve both? Still wire loop cautery and CO2 laser?
So I just did TCA CROSS today and the dermatologist said linear scars that are on the left side of my nose and what it looks to be enlarged pores/ice pick scars that are on the top of my nose won't get any improved from TCA CROSS and didn't even bother trying on it. He only did it on my temples and cheeks. I found that little weird. I feel like he didn't want to take a risk on my nose. Or if that's true, would CO2 Fraxel help get rid of these scars that are on my nose? Thank you very much!
I had this scar since I was a child after chickenpox and it started to bother me lately . I went to a doctor who told me that co2 fractional laser is the best solution for this . I want to know if the laser could be affective and help me out or no .
I have large pores on my nose and surrounding area that I am considering laser resurfacing for. I also have them on my chin. Is this the best treatment for large pores? What might it cost for me to have this done? Will my pores disappear? I would also like to ask you what is the best treatment for the scars on my face and how much money will it cost? What can I do about the purple under my eyes and how much money will that cost? Will the results be permanent for each of these procedures?
Due to having lots of acne when I was a teenager, I have acne scars and enlarged pores on my nose and my nose gets scarred very easily. I have tried microneeding but I feel like it left me more scars instead. One doctor suggested me getting Co2 laser resurfacing and another one said Co2 doesn't work for this kind of scars but instead steroid injections(up to 6 treatments)will make scars less visible. Please let me know what you think. Thank you so much in advance.
I have an atrophic scar on my nose bridge; do to a mole removal 6 months ago. One Dermatologic Surgeon says CO2 laser is the best treatment? The other Dermatologic Surgeon says a Scar revision surgrey best. He will turn the 5 mm atrophic scar into a 7 mm straight line acrossnose bridge using a cut and stitches method. Which is the best? Which will leave the smallest scar. Right now I have a 5 mm whole on nose bridge.
I am 41 years old. I have enlarged pores on my nose which are difficult to keep clean and are cosmetically bothering me. I have had clear and brilliant x 3 treatments in 2019. I have had Morpheus 8 x 1 treatment 3 months ago which seems like it made things worse. I apply retin A 0.05% every night for over 12 months without much improvement. Also using salicyclic 2% every other day, 15% salicyclic every other week.
