I performed a whole face treatment with a fractionated Co2 laser 45 days ago and my skin is still very red. I have rosacea and sensitive skin. Before performing the procedure, I informed the doctor about this, and asked him to make a more superficial parameter, but at the end of the treatment he told me that he had done something deeper. is it normal to be red for so long?
I had ablative CO2 laser resurfacing around 5 weeks ago. I have been very depressed because this is not the outcome I have expected! I still have a lot of swelling mostly around the eyes and the Dr prescribed steroids which has not helped. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The first photo is rite before the procedure! Second is 5 weeks after!
Can it be possible my skin has been damaged? Or maybe im still healing? Is it unsafe to Dot below the eye? I was told it would be great for my skin. It is like patches of flesh color dots
I had co2 laser four weeks go on my face for acne scars. As the days go by, it looks like my scars are getting deeper. Im so upset. The doctor is being super fake and saying my skin looks absolutely amazing and I see no results besides my freckles being completely gone
Hi. I've gone under one procedure of co2 laser treatment a month(4 weeks) ago for post acne scars. And there're little pin holes left on my face. I can tell it's post effect of CO2 laser treatment because of the pattern. Are they permanent and should I continue treatment or not( because I thought my skin might not react, its quite good)
My eyelids are still red/sore and appear bruised 4 weeks post laser. Was advised to apply OTC Steroid cream after 2 weeks to aid recovery-Used sparingly on alternate days. Right eye is particularly bad and slow to heal. Need to use heavy makeup (Dermablend) to leave the house. What should I do now? Is it just a waiting game? Have taken progress photos over past 4 weeks. I Have included 1 photo post laser and 3 photos of Right eye at 4 weeks. Redness is worse than appears in photos.
I am 5 weeks post co2 laser resurfacing a day I'm very red and dry. I am healing sloway. I have erythema small dark brown spots but the rest of the face is just red. My doctor said to use the bleaching cream. Should I ne using that if I haven't healed?
I am 6 weeks post co2 laser and I'm very red with hyperpigmentation. I also have lots of breakouts, big pimples.I've been advised to use hydroquinone and retina a but I'm really afraid to put anything on my skin. And I feel like I have even more lines. He said he went deep but I never peeled or scabbed. I used aquaphor for 2 weeks per the doctor.
After 5 weeks no improvement regarding marks on my cheeks after CO2 procedure. Texture is bumpy, shiny, waxy, hypertrophic scar alike with visible dents after laser. It appeared 5 days postprocedure. No topical corticosteroids seem to work. I've seen 4 doctors, 3 told me it will go away, but it isn't happenning. Is it possible to destroy collagen production in order to create such a permanent scar? What is left? Steroid injections? Please help.
