35 year old female. lost weight. maybe 5 kilos but I'm extremely petite. I noticed all of a sudden i had extreme marionette lines and heavy nasolabial folds. I decided to get cheek filler, as I was falsely advised this would lift my lower face. I currently estimate I have about 3ml per cheek of HA filler, Restylane Lyft, which I was like dissolved and would like to adress this with perhaps hydroxyapatite augmentation and fat transfer. I think prejowl implant could address my lower face?
Hello. I'm 31and have developed noticeable marionette lines. I feel they're caused by these fat pouches around mouth/chin, called perioral mounds.. I was considering a prejowl chin implant as I do have a recessive chin and thought the extended wings of the implant could maybe help with the marionette lines?
This is the result following a 2nd procedure (1 month after initial), to realign a wing that jutted upward above the jaw-line. The photos are 2 months post-op, and now at 3 months, the puffy jowel and crevis remain. Needless to say the depression is overwhelming, and I avoid the mirror like the plague. You can see (photo) how only the corrected side is affected, and btw, the 1st procedure didn't produce this result. They say it takes 6 months to fully heal, but this appears out of the ordinary.
I feel like my chin implant is cut too short because I dont have a smooth jaw line. The size is what I wanted but from the front it doesnt look quite right. My surgeon did say that he was very conscious of my nerves in the chin area and trimmed the implant accordingly. I feel that I can see marionette lines as well. I also just found out that my surgeon is leaving the practice this month so he wouldnt even be the one to revise it.
I got a medium silicone chin implant 6 weeks ago via intraoral and after the swelling went down I noticed I had deeper cavities below the corners of my mouth. (both sides) - Have you heard of similar cases after a chin implant? - Would removing the chin implant fix it? - My smile has returned to normal pretty quickly and the sensation of the chin is improving. I am considering removal since I want my volume back. I don't want to get any fillers at all I'm just 22. Please help me.
I have a small chin and jaw. The photos I provides are of me with my mouth shut and at rest. I have an overbite and am considering a chin implant to balance my features and because jaw surgery isn't affordable for me. Problem is that I'm getting skin darkening and irritation along one area that would be considered my DAO or marionette line. I also have a dimple like knotch that shows up when I purse my lips (which is often). What is happening that causes my skin to darken and dip in that area?
