I have this extra fat on my jawline/lower face. I am 30. Im 125lb and 5'7. So I am pretty slim but my face when i smile had extra fat making me appear bigger. Would buccal fat removal help without causing issues later in life? Or would a mini facelift be better?
6 months ago I got buccal fat removal. The surgeon said that cheek lipo would help to remove my jowls and smooth out the jawline with the buccal fat removal. So, he sucked two syringes of fat out of my cheeks. Now I have big dents on my face, and the skin on my lower jaw is loose. I have googled, and there are mixed opinions about whether this is fixable. I'm devastated. Surgeon says the way to fix it is a neck lift that involves removing part of the salivary glands. What do I do?
I am a 21M. I weigh 130lbs. My body fat percentage is 14%. I have never had any cosmetic surgery done on my face except for getting my Wisdom teeth removed. My BMI is in a healthy range. My main concern is that even after losing all my weight (I used to weigh 160lbs at 29% BF), I still have face fat, when I really desire to have a jawline and less face fat. Another question I had is since I dont have a sharp jawline and I have a weak chin. Would this type of surgery look bad on me?
I'm 21 years old and have struggled with chipmun cheeks my entire life. No matter what weight I am, my cheeks always looks big. I was wondering what might best address the chubbiness of my cheeks as well as the width of my face. I seem t have cheekbones that stick out too far and make me face wide. I also dislike my chin shape and how it is almost square like when I smile. Would bone shaving be the way to address this? I'd also like more definition in the jawline, would lipo help?
Biggest concern is my jawline / double chin / overall not a defined lower face, but have been told by a previous surgeon it is my anatomy and plastic surgery isn't possible for my double chin. He did however recommend buccal fat removal, I'm so unsure if this is the right decision. I am also currently starting masseter Botox which i know will slim my face.
Hi. Im 38 and have had full cheeks for my entire life. Im would like more definition around my jaw line and cheeks, but, Im concerned about loosing my youthful appearance with buccal fat removal surgery. Would partial buccal fat removal or a mid facelift be the better option? Is there another option I should research?
Hello. I have always disliked how round my face is, and that I dont have much of a pronounced jawline. Ive been looking into buccal fat removal to help solve this problem and define my cheekbones as well but Ive heard it can cause severe premature aging. I was wondering if doing jawline filler with the buccal fat removal would help diminish those effects at all? My mom seems to think that by adding fat into another part of my face , it will counteract negative effects of buccal fat removal
Im in my forties and am seeing some serious drooping in my cheeks almost as if they have dropped and formed little pouches that hang at my jawline. I have been recommended to have buccal fat removal, a lower facelift, and fat grafting to the chin. I am concerned about the buccal fat removal, because I dont want to end up looking to hollow as I get older. Im also concerned, because I dont have a good chin its small and very narrow. Am I a good candidate?
