One year ago, I got an endoscopic brow lift. Now I'm suffering 1.eyebrows whose heads don't grow back fully, even if I trim them 2.large forehead 3. No hair on scars 4. My right eyebrow doesn't really move 5. Shocked look with the tail sagging badly. Do you think getting another procedure done in order to get the forehead & tails fixed would worsen the paralysis, etc? The photo is from the first 6 months. The tails have sagged and without pencil, it's sort of bald and thin. Thanks in advance!
I am a lifelong nonsmoker. It has been eight weeks since brow lift revision surgery. After the surgery, my head was wrapped several times with an elastic bandage. Over the next two days, I felt intense pain and pressure at the site of the incision and below. Post bandage removal, I saw a red wound from the incision to 1 below on my forehead. The skin is now leathery, thick, black, and upturned at the edges. The area of my scalp behind the incision is now bald (alopecia). Prognosis? Treatment?
I had a bilateral incision brow-lift 2 1/2 months ago. The top incision cause a large bald spot about the size of 2 quarters!. The Doc defines this cause as stress alopecia. I really don't see any new growth! I can disguise it with a side comb-over, but I am really concerned. Can I has cortisone / seroid injections to jump start? (I have been using Bosley) Do I need hair plugs? Thanks for suggestions.
Wk 3 was bad, but wk 4 is getting even worse. At wk 3 my doc injected scalp with a steroid. My scalp continues to hurt all over and in a number of points away from the incision is super painfully sensitive to touch. This is not a sign of a permanent hair loss, is it? What else can I do besides being patient for the next 6 mo/yr to assure no more hair loss and to boost re-growth. I only wash my hair 2x wk, do not use hair dryer or irritating shampoo/conditioners, am eating more protein. Thanks
Hi, I had browlift with internal sutures 7 months ago. I have two scars, bald patches which are indented in my scalp. They dip inward and are really sensitive to touch all around. After staples were pulled out, they bled and opened some. Now the scar on the right is large. It's shiny and I can't see any hair follicles. To make it worse, it seems like the stretched incisions have caused my forehead to settle with small lines and wrinkles. Is there anything I can do to at least fix these scars?
