I am getting my preop done for breast augmentation surgery and this is what was found on my breast ultrasound after an inconclusive mammogram. At the 3:00 position in the right breast 5 cm from the nipple is a hypochoic nodule measuring 0.5 x 0.2 x 0.4 cm. This structure is wider than tall and demonstrates mild lobulation to its contour. It shows no internal flow on color Doppler interrogation.Recommend 6 month ultrasound follow-up of the right breast. BI-RADS category 3: Probably benign.
Recently I had a ultrasound done on my breasts and they found 2 ovoid hypoechoic nodules. They stated that right now it's nothing to be worried about but will monitor it every 6 months for a year.
I have a nodular breast - left one - I've done a scan on my breast about 5 years ago they said nothing to worry just some lumps from breastfeeding. Some medium pain when hormonal changes happened in my body or on period time. I want now to have an implant. It's a good idea? Is there a risk? Of course I will do another one before I will do my implants but till then I just want do me opinions. Please. Thank you!
I felt a nodule in the left breast, had an ultrasound mammogram. I also do yearly diagnostic mammograms. Nothing shows up. I have low white blood cell count. I've been tested (oncologist) for autoimmune diseases, cancer, HIV, everything. I now suffer from iritis, usually caused by inflammation. Eye doctor ordered tests for autoimmune, inflammatory problems, but nothing was found. Is this related to my implants? Should I do an MRI to test the implants? Should I remove implants?
Hi, I am 11 days post aug. I am 127lbs, 5'2, fit active. Had 425cc implanted. I am worried since I still have pain and I am high and tight still. The bottom of my breast mostly, and there are almost knot like nodules in the bottom with some slight bruising still. I feel it pertinent I tell you I am anemic. Still wearing band and started massaging.
Last week the MRI showed no reputure. A 9mm nodule. inflammatory reactive fluid, and a Baker IV capsulation in the left breast. 5 years ago underwent revision due to rupture. That operative report read 60% particle capsulectomy removed. Would my new surgeon able to remove the 40% capsule left behind by the previous surgeon? Previous operative report states it's incised. What's does that mean? I'll like to walk away after this surgery knowing am clean and ready live.
Had BA 2012. Today, felt lump-inner bottom corner of R breast. Feels like small, squishy marble that moves & disappears when I push firmly, & pops back when I remove pressure. No visible rippling/change in outward appearance. I'm 30-have never felt a nodule/lump in breasts. Other threads lead me to believe it's a fold/ripple, however, I have silicone gel implants partially under the muscle. Thought folding/rippling was rare w/ these implants. Making appt with my PS, but wanted opinions here too.
I found a nodule a week or so ago, then if seem to spread out. My implants are silicone, with only expected capsule. I a happy to leave them be, I am scheduled for a mammogram in August, and will not have chemo. I will assume pain relief is given. Thanks
I have silicone nodules still in my armpit. I recently had seven nodules and two lymph nodes out, and now several more now in my armpit! Who should I go to? What doctor should I go to after I have done four surgeries in my left breast? Can all the silicone be removed out of me? MRI revealed several in armpit and one in the middle left over from a ruptured silicone breast implant. Any idea as to why the surgeon didn't get it all out? My surgery in 2007 was three hours long and a drain placed in me afterwards. She wouldn't take me seriously when I said was experiencing soreness and pain in my armpit. Help!
