Im trying to find a clear cut answer on taking my prescribed adderall after having my surgery because of the stimulant it has in it, also if I have one cigarette, Im not a habitual smoker I have one when Im super stressed probably 1 in every 4-5 months but this procedure has been very stressful for my husband and I if I were to smoke one would it seriously ruin my healing process
Smoked cigarettes 4 days before i was added on to have breast augmentation maybe a total of 1 pack over the week before how will this? I only in the last 6 months started smoking maybe 2 packs a weekI was added earlier to have my Sx I only smoked maybe 5 cigarettes from Sunday to Wednesday the day before my preop and Im scheduled for this Monday morning Im very healthy no health problems age 56 height 56 weight 165. Do I need to cancel my surgery?
My first boob job was over 10 years ago, everything went well but after pregnancy my boobs looked strange and separat so I booked a consultation. I didnt want a lift because I was afraid of big scars, and the doctor told me I would have to go big if I want to see a lift. I went for the surgery without those pressure socks, I was told I could continue to smoke onky have to smoke less and I only got 1 shot of Clexane afterwards, so I had a pulmonary embolism, can I still have boob job? Too big :(
Hi, I gave up smoking 2 weeks prior to surgery and was doing great but have slipped up a little.. I am 2 weeks post op and over the last 2 weeks I have had a couple of puffs of cigarettes here and there which would probably add up to about 6 cigarettes all up.. I am definitely not having anymore and am very disappointed in myself but will this have an affect on my healing and risk of complications? I am hoping not.. Thank you
I have a busy life and am usually exhausted by nighttime, but I always have trouble falling & staying asleep. I learned to remedy this by smoking a tiny amount of cannabis (3-4 puffs) which relaxes my mind and allows me to fall asleep almost instantly. Without it Im up until 2 or 3am tossing and turning (usually thinking about how my day went or what I will do the next day). This is not ideal as I need to be up by 6am. My doctor advised against smoking so I need an alternative!
Today is Monday and my BA is on Wednesday. I have been doing my absolute best to cut down on smoking and I am still very nervous that they may postpone my surgery. Is nicotine going to show up in my blood work? Will the doctors be testing my blood for these types of substances?
My dr requires 4 weeks smoke free before having a breast lift. I would have been exactly that had I not smoked about 10 cigarettes after recieving some devastating news. However, I will be 3 weeks & since I have quit, I've been walking/jogging 2 miles everyday. Will I have a safe surgery? Also, will I pass the nicotine test required the morning of surgery. If I don't pass, they keep 50% of the money.
