Breast Implant Revision: Stories

I had a breast revision with a lift. I talked to Dr. Pousti about doing a 2 stage procedure, but due to the cost...I opted to just do it in 1 stage. I am more that happy with my results.

First of all, before I get into my procedure...it is of utmost importance that I take a moment to compliment Dr. Pousti. I had been looking for a surgeon to perform a breast revision, and searched the internet extensively for a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, who would give me the look that I wanted. If I walked into another consultation and had ONE MORE Dr. tell me that they would give me the "natural" look...I was going to scream!!
From the moment I walked into Dr. Pousti’s office, the girls at the front made me feel like family. We sat down with Dr. Pousti and went over all of the possibilities for my procedure. No pressure, just the facts. Q & A time for me and my better half. Honest and down to earth Dr. Pousti doesn't hold back. If it can be done, this man can do it!! And beautifully at that! My breasts were large, heavy, and sagging. I am older, so my skin is losing elasticity. Dr. told me that I could have my choice a couple of different procedures. A 2-stage procedure or doing it all at one time. I opted for the one stage...I really wanted BIG, ROUND, firm, and, in general...younger looking breasts. Dr. Pousti told me that he could give me that, within reason. Not too big because of the lift, so I told him to go as big as he could - safely- and left it all in his hands. We were so comfortable with Dr. Pousti and his skills, we couldn't wait to schedule.
Vanessa, (Thank you for everything) is amazing. Dr. Pousti...you better keep her around, she is priceless! She took care of every last detail for me. The scheduling was a breeze, from pre-op, post-op, and all of my visits since. They are right on top of it...they remember me when I walk in, even after months have gone by. That is a nice feeling...that you weren't just a number. They are a fantastic bunch of people! Down to the emails that I receive from Margie...telling me that I look fantastic! I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Pousti and his team of Professionals that he holds under his wings! They are a caring group who will treat you with kindness and respect. I highly recommend Dr. Pousti!!!!!!!!!!
The surgery was a huge sucess - I look amazing. I went in a droopy DD, and came out a perky DD. My skin looks like it belongs on a 20 year old. I am full and round on top, just like I wanted. I wanted to have that "fake" look!! Well I have it. I LOVE MY NEW LOOK, and couldn't be happier with my choice to use Dr. Pousti.

The results from my surgery from Jan 31, 2012 were really good, except I had a little asymmetry. My right breast had dropped and my left never did. I decided to schedule a revision to correct the imperfection with an internal bra. My husband and I though about it and decided that I would do an implant exchange at the same time. I was limited with how big I could go at my first surgery due to the fact that I was having a lift, and with the amount of sutures that I would put too much pressure on them if I went too big. So at the time, I let Dr, Pousti be the judge and he filled me as large as was possibly safe. I had beautiful shape and gorgeous nipple placement.
My experience - once again - at Dr. Pousti's office has been nothing short of a visit to the family Doctor. Dr. Pousti really understands when you tell him what you want. He actually listens, he cares, he hears what you are saying instead of just nodding just to get you out of there and go on to the next patient.
I brought in a LOT of photos and discussed what size, look and placement I wanted. I always leave Dr. Pousti with an extreme amount of confidence that I have made the right choice. He is an amazing Doctor.
Surgery went fantastic...I, again, left the cc's up to Dr. Pousti - he had the photos of what I wanted to look like. I know that the # of cc's can look different from one girl to the next, so I was not dead set on anything.
I had an internal bra in the right breast to bring it up to the same level as the left breast, then the implant exchange.
When I woke up in the recovery, I just wanted to see the # that he filled me to -

YEAH
So, recovery is going well. I am sore - but not too bad. The internal stitches are tender and it is hard to remember to keep my elbow down. If I move the wrong way, my body does remind me. Can't wait until my appointment next week for the unveiling so I can see the results.
