I needed to correct 3 botched reduction surgeries,...
I needed to correct 3 botched reduction surgeries, and was beginning to make the rounds. I was really nervous to have a 4th surgery but my current results were so bad I had no choice. I had hideous scars, flat and flappy breasts and major sag. But it's really confusing to meet with so many doctors and try to find the right one after 3 previous surgeries. I was looking in both LA and NYC, so several friends recommended me to Dr. Robert Freund in NYC. I met with him twice, and each time he spent so much time with me and we discussed every possible approach to my correction. I was not an easy case, but thankfully he's a perfectionist and very knowledgeable. And I'd seen his work in person on a few of my friends.
Every other doctor told me the only way to correct me was anchor and other full cut approaches, but Dr. Freund said he didn't need to anchor cut me to correct and reduce and that he was ready to take on my challenging breasts. I was sold! My surgery was Aug 29th.
1 mos later, I cannot tell you how spectacular I look and feel. Dr. Freund is AMAZING!! GO see him! He spent so much time reconstructing my breasts, and used his own techniques to avoid any cuts other then around my areola, and completely fixed the originally stretched scars. He spent an extra hour on my left breast and revised it 7 times to get it perfect. I opted for some Lipo as well and it was incredible!
Again I cannot recommend Dr. Freund and his team enough- so kind, so talented and available at all times. He called me several times personally during my first 2 weeks of post surgery and gave me his personal cell for any needs.
I'm still healing and have checkups each 2 weeks which I look forward to. So far, and only a month out, I literally feel like a new person. I wasn't fully aware of how self conscious I had become about the state of my breasts. I went from a DD to a small C and they are PERFECT and healing incredibly. And my Lipo is SO amazing I actually look like a different person!
