Bottomed out Implants - Beverly Hills, CA

My implants had bottomed out from a previous surgery 8 years prior, while the situation wasn't life threatening cosmetically it didn't look good and was uncomfortable especially when sleeping. I was really worried about having a negative reaction to the surgery and ending up with further complications, so it took me hours of internet research, and 4 consultations to find my surgeon and go through with the surgery. I am also an avid kiteboarder and wakeboarder so taking time out of my season (3 months) took a lot of preparation both mentally and physically. Since both my implants had bottomed out it would require a new pocket to be made on both sides, a 6 hour surgery was needed to make sure that they were symmetrical and done right. This of course was worrying as I had never had anesthesia for this long before, I tend to have a sensitive stomach so I was anticipating not feeling great after surgery, in addition to the pain from a 6 hour reconstructive procedure. To my surprise I could not have been further off in my assumption! I awoke from anesthesia with no problems and felt fine for the rest of the day, I didn't feel sick nor did I have any pain, I took a tylenol in the evening before bedtime and that was it. I was shocked at how painless the surgery was. I also didn't have too much swelling which I was prepared for. My recovery was really easy, I had to stay away from exercise for about a month and couldn't return to wakeboarding and kiteboarding for about 3 months in order to let everything settle down. I had no complications, no pain, and the surgery was 100% a success, I am now over a year post op and everything has healed perfectly. I am so happy. Dr Firouz and his staff are amazing, they made me feel comfortable through the entire process. I feel like I am now part of their family and have referred several of my friends to them for their surgeries of which they are equally happy with. I have returned for botox and filler treatments with Dr Firouz and he is amazing I am so glad to have found my doctor. If you haven't seen Dr Firouz for a consultation you are missing out, he is the best. Take it from someone who knows. Thank you Firouz and Staff!
