I had two moles removed next to my belly button a week ago. They were removed using a shave extraction because he said they looked atypical. He did mention during it that one was deeper than he expected. He had to cauterize it. On that one, it has a dark spot that looks like the mole is still completely there. Is that from the cauterizing or is there still mole left? I haven't gotten my results back. These moles showed up about 5 years ago and started changing 1 year ago while I was pregnant.
I had a small mole removed from my armpit at 15 1/2 weeks. The doc used a small amount of lidocaine to numb, then cut and lastly cauterized it. I'm kind of freaking out about the cauterizing part due to the machines ability in sending out electric currents. Long story short, about 5 hours after procedure I began to have mild cramping which intensified the following day. I left work and went to the hospital due to the uneasy feeling of pain. I called out the following day as well due to pain.
I am pregnant and had two moles biopsied. One was done when I was 6w3d and I received approximately .75 mL of 1% Lidocaine with Epinephrine 1:100,000. The other was done when I was 7w3d and I received .5 mL of 1% Lidocaine. I'm very worried about exposure to the fetus, and the risk of harm this early in pregnancy. After the procedures, and more researching, I have a lot of regret & worry over exposing my baby. With the amounts this small, is there any possibility my fetus had exposure?
Over the last two years I noticed a mole on my heel and didn't think much of it, as I heard moles after pregnancy are normal. Recently I have noticed it's slightly bigger and isn't symmetrical anymore, and it feels raised. It has itched before, but currently does not. Can you help?
mole developed R wrist Oct 2011, no growth but darkened while pregnant I dermatologist saw Nov 2013 and another in March 2014, said it looked fine under dermatoscope. My problem is I squeezed and picked it off leaving a scar. Now I am scared that it was a melanoma and it is deep under scar tissue. No dark pigment in the scar just pink. Can a melanoma be scratched, rubbed, picked off. wouldn't it have grown or changed significantly in 2 plus years? I'm so worried. I am 34 and a mom of 2 precious babies.
Hi,I'm 14 weeks pregnant and I noticed a new mole in my breast some days ago.I'm sure it's new,it's liked it popped over a night. It looks atypical to me and it's not more than 6mm.I have already to atypical moles since I can remember my self.I'm going to see a dermatologist tomorrow but I'm really scared, almost sure,it's melanoma. If it's melanoma, could it have spread so fast? It's a week old mole.
