Can the Corners of the Mouth Be Cut to Widen a Smile? What is the Approx. Cost of Such Procedure? (photo)

My smile is terrible. It's not wide enough for my big, but close together teeth! Also, the corners point downward. Is there a surgery that can widen it a little bit, and make me look happier?? When I smile, people don't think I'm smiling all the way. And when I am not smiling, people think there's something wrong, or that I'm mad.

Thank you for the photo. May I suggest - just from the photo - for your smile Please do not have surgery that cuts the corners of your lips to widen them. This is a reconstructive procedure for severely burned patients and will not improve your appearance. Tell me about it !!! Iam so jealous of people who can smile wide up to upper cheecks !! As if we are smiling half a smile or faking it or disguisted !! Maybe buccal fat removal can help though you show your skinny ! I was wondering if you had a nose job that affected space between mouth and nose that affects smile catastrophicaly if done wrongly ...i used to feel i have lower cheecks bigger than uper so i got injections hylauronic in the upper and now iam happy :D

Boy, do I wish I could afford a nose job! I have no self esteem and have been that way since I was an early teen. I'm depressed every day, and I don't even want people to look at me. When people compliment me on anything, I honestly feel like they're playing a cruel joke on me..
