Will Nuderm Creams Work Without the Peel?

I have just bought the Nuderm creams from skin doctor but because of my age (70) and 'downtime' of a peel. I have decided now not to have the peel which was my intention. I have some lip lines and chin lines (a residue from having acne when young) but my skin is very sensitive now and quite fine in texture, I have been using Cosmedix Retin 4% for about 18 months without much improvement and wonder if this system will be of any effect without the peel. Much obliged.
