Does Cartlidge Become Redistributed by Movement?

I have read up somewhere that cartlidge becomes redistriuted by movement - does this mean that this changes the appearance of your nose , If this is so does it change it permanently . I had a habit of rocking backwards and forwards for 6-12 hours a day has this altered the appearance of my nose as I started doing it more often these past 3 years and Ive noticed its become big wide shapeless nasal bone not visible thought you can see it at the top and i have a nasal bump .
