After an allergic reaction to latex nose pads on my glasses, I developed a raised surface on the left side of my nose. Is it possible to have that bump of raised, soft tissue removed? If so, what procedure would you recommend and would it constitute rhinoplasty?

Yes, I think the swelling in the middle portion of the nose takes a little linger to go away when spreader grafts are placed. The difference however is not that great. You are still very early after surgery. Follow your surgeon's instructions and you should be fine.

So long as you will not be taking medication or be placed under anesthesia, the teeth cleaning you have scheduled on the day before your rhinoplasty should pose no concern. The two procedures are uncorrelated, and you should rest assured that the results of your nose job will not be compromised...

Rhinoplasty results take ! year. There is no swelling at 2 years. Cortisone won't help. A revision is what you need to change the nose. See an experienced revision rhinoplasty expert for the best result.
