I am getting a rhinoplasty and septoplasty done in a week and the day before I have an appointment with my dentist for teeth cleaning. Is this going to affect my surgery? Should I cancel my dentist appointment?

Peptostreptococcus, Propionibacterium might be troublesome after facial surgery.

Teeth Cleaning the Day Before Rhinoplasty..safe?

Ask the plastic and cosmetic surgeon that's going to perform your Rhinoplasty his/her advice on the matter. I wouldn't have an issue but you need to ask your Rhinoplasty Surgeon.

Teeth cleaning day before rhinoplasty is okay

It is certainly acceptable to undergo teeth cleaning a day or two prior to your rhinoplasty procedure. It should not affect your surgery.

Teeth cleaning before rhinoplasty

Having your teeth cleaned one day prior to surgery will not have any impact on your scheduled procedure. As long as you avoid taking any restricted medications which may be associated with more invasive dental work, everything should be fine. Thank you and best of luck.

We have no issue with teeth cleaning before rhinoplasty

Cleaning your teeth one day before a rhinoplasty should not be an issue, and infection in rhinoplasty is very uncommon.
