Necklift Always Better Than Submentoplasty

I'm considering submentoplasty or neck lift and wondering which one would be better for me. Some surgeon suggests neck lift, some submentoplasty. I'm 48 years old, normal weight, healthy woman. I have some extra fat under my chin and some sagging skin. I add the photo, where I'm swallowing, because then my neck look worse.

For fat and excess skin under the neck, submentoplasty is not the best option. For any extra skin the best way to remove it is by pulling it behind the ear and excising it in that area. Excising extra skin under the chin always causes small dog ear pouches.

You can also benefit from platysmaplasty which is easier to do with a necklift.
