Botox is great for forehead lines

Shawn Allen, MD answers: Does Botox work on horizontal forehead creases?

Hi. My name is Kym and I am 38 years old. I am desperate to find a non-invasive procedure to help reduce the lines going accross my forehead. I have four (two are very small) but am very depressed about how old I feel I look because of them. Does Botox work on this type of crease? Thanks!

Absolutely! Botox is great for forehead lines. Do be careful where the injections are placed. If they are placed too low on the forehead they can cause drooping of the eyebrows, and if they are placed very low on the forehead they can cause actual dooping of the eyelids. Good luck.
