Hi! I am wondering what the best option is for my face. I have rolling scars from acne and a few deep pits and large pores. Even when I smile I get what looks like dimples but are actually from my deep scars. It has reduced my confidence majorly in the prime of my life in only 25. Would you also recommend I see a dermatologist to check out my skin as I still get acne on various occasions. Have been looking at some treatments such as lazer and microdermabrasion. I just would like some expertise.
Hello! Im 30 years old... For 3 months, I had very light peelings with my dermatologist (only 1 per month),3 weeks after the last one, I had a facial which included microdermabrassion, after that, my pores look bigger and stretched and my face looks dry with tiny lines, its been a month and still the same. I don't understand, did I over exfoliated? what happened? what can I do.. they gave me retiage and also suggested microneedling but Im so scared to do things to my face since my experience..
I am 31 years old and very fit but after having a baby the skin on my stomach is loose. I do not have stretch marks but I can pull the skin away and it folds giving he appearance of small rolls even though I have low body fat.
Retin A gave me wrinkles under my eye and cheek area. I am 30 years old. I used prescription retin A for my under eye area for a few weeks, now I am left w/ little thin wirnkles under my eye and cheek area. How can I make this better? I asked a dermatologist, and they just told me that it would go away because my skin would just peel, but it has been over a year, it has only gotten worse. Should I do micro dermabrasion? I have genetically thin skin, but not so thin that I can't have treatments
I am 32 years old. I first developed vitiligo on my face when I was 17. It isn't very noticeable. The washes of de pigmentation on my face have been unchanging for many years. The vitiligo on my chest has worsened slightly but my case is not bad compared to others I've seen. I am not treating the vitiligo. I want the microdermabrasion to improve the tone and texture of the skin on my face but I don't want to flare up or worsen my vitiligo. Thank you in advance.
I'm 28 years old with sensitive but otherwise healthy skin. I've read in many places about how you should be gentle with your skin even when it comes to washing your face and that you should not exfoliate more than twice a week, etc. I've always had skin that looks much younger than my age would suggest but lately it's started to look tired and stressed so I thought doing at-home microdermabrasion would help freshen my skin. But is microdermabrasion going to do more harm than good in my case?
I am a 25 year old woman with a Fitzpatrick II complexion. I have no deep wrinkles, acne scars, or pigmentation I am trying to get rid of. I am merely considering this procedure to treat my sun damaged face. How many microdermabrasions would be necessary for a patient like me?
