If you are looking to get this procedure done I definitely recommend Dr. G. I went to several doctors for consultations, but none of them had the expertise like Dr. G. He also had the best before & after pictures online. His staff was very accommodating since I was flying in from out of state. Dr. G even came to my hotel for my follow ups so I wouldn't have to go back into the office. He made me feel very safe and comfortable during the whole process. He is extremely friendly and down to earth which I found surprising for a doctor in Beverly Hills. The cost was also very competitive and reasonable. I am very happy with the results!

My whole life I had always felt I have had masculine face because of my nose. It was the one thing that I had always told myself I wanted to change, but the thought of actually getting a "nose job" was a frightening one! Finally two years ago, I decided that after contemplating it for half of my life, it was time to make myself happy. I knew that Rhinoplasty was what I wanted, but now the tough part was finding the right doctor! My criteria was that since I am of Hispanic decent, I didnt want a "cookie cutter" nose that I have seen all my life growing up in L.A. I researched "ethnic rhinoplasty" and Dr. Ghavami was the first that came up. When I saw all of his picutres, I was beyonf impressed. All the woman (of all different types of race) had a nose that fit perfectly to their face. I could tell that this man must be a TRUE Artist (and low and behold he really is!) When I first met Dr. G I was terrified because had NEVER done anything like this. But, his demeanor and kindness eased my fears immediately. He spoke in detail of what was to be expected, the whole procedure, recovery and we talked in depth of what it was I wanted. I checked out other doctors in the area (mostly out of my own formality) but I knew in the back of my head I had already found my doctor. I meet a couple more times (a span of 6 months) before the surgery before I made my choice to have the surgery. Yet the whole time, I knew that I was in good hands. What most suprised me was how little pain (really hardly any) the recovery was. This speaks HUGE of his bedside manner. I even joked with my friends how easy it was! I was back to work two weeks after and I kid you not NOBODY even noticed...thats how natural it is. It is officially over a year now and I still think everyday how this has been the BEST thing I have ever done for myself. The whole process was wonderful, and his staff is great! I truly feel like a real woman now after so many years of being down. Dr. G really jumpstarted my life. I know this whole thing can be really jarring, but thats why I wanted to write a review for him. I never do this kind of stuff, but I owe it to Dr. G (and YOU!) to tell you if you really are ready to transform your life, he is the man to do it. I really am the happiest I have ever been, and I can't thank him enough for it. Like someone else on here said, everyone deserves to feel as wonderful and happy as I do.

Being multi-ethnic, I was in search of a surgeon that was immensely skilled at "fine tuning" while at the same time maintaining racial identity. My biggest fear was coming out of surgery and people saying, "Whoa. She's had plastic surgery." In my opinion and in my business (entertainment) it's better to look "natural." I had decided on breast augmentation with a rhinoplasty and after meeting with various doctors in the LA area, I chose Dr. G. His pictures on his website were amazing, his consultation was FREE< (which was a big deal for me, b/c I had been shelling out between $200-$500 per consult with other "high profile" surgeons, only to leave the office knowing I wouldn't be going back, nor would I be getting my money back. What made me the most comfortable with Dr. G, is that he really seemed passionate about his work, and I mean REALLY passionate. He spoke of his credentials, training, experience like DaVinci on the Mona Lisa. (I kid you not.) He spent over an hour with me, discussing my concerns, desires, his input, etc. And when I left I felt very confident with him. For the next 10 months, I had multiple consults, I mean, this was my face and body after all, you can never be too careful. Never did he get annoyed, or snippy. He was always pleasant, professional, and showed such enthusiasm and confidence in the procedures that any insecurity I may have had, gently slipped away. I am since 4 wks post op with Dr. G and both of my surgeries came out PERFECTLY. I trusted him to ultimately choose which size saline implants to use in the end, b/c I knew he knew what I wanted but most importantly the look I DIDN'T want, and that he would do what was best in the operating room. My breasts look natural, feel great, and each week, they get better. Not to mention he performed a breast lift (both through the aerola) and it did wonders for the appearance. My rhinoplasty was my biggest concern, because..HELLLOOO its my FACE. There's no putting a bra on that. The rhinoplasty is sooooo natural, that ppl who know me don't even notice. Even the friends that do know I've had the procedure have to look at old photos next to my face to remember, "oh yea, your nose was bigger." It's that natural. It's almost so natural, that I forget what my nose looked like and sometimes think, "hmm...maybe it could be even smaller." That's how good he is. I don't "look" like I've had surgery at all, whatsoever. I never go online to write reviews of food, or services, and such, but I felt it's only right to come on here and speak from experience, b/c I was that person searching hours online, fretting over "who's the right doctor for me," and looking for the first hand accounts from ppl who knew. Well I am one of them. I would highly recommend Dr. G, b/c he's uber talented, young (6 years into his own practic: which translates to he's been equipped with the foundation of years ago in medicine but also all the cutting edge new age stuff of today). He's super funny, charming, kind, and did I mention TALENTED. Anyone ESPECIALLY PPL WHO ARE ETHNIC since we tend to have more difficult rhinoplasty jobs, to go check him out FIRST. GO TO A RHINOPLASTY ETHNIC SPECIALIST!!!! Any quack can do a nose job but it takes a true talent and artist to CORRECTLY DO A NOSE JOB so that you dont look like you had one. The only thing I didn't give him a "5" on was his phone/email responsiveness and that's ONLY b/c as his work gets out there, he's becoming more and more booked up, so once in a while if I called at 1030am (with a non emergency), he may not be able to follow up until 830 due to being in the office/with patients/etc. I'm a huge supporter, and am just happy and grateful that all my months of homework led me to him.

Dr. Ghavami is a surgeon's surgeon. When I was looking for a Dr.as a physician myself, I valued a few things: expertise in the field, training, academic rigor and respect amongst colleagues within the field. Dr. Ghavami had all of these qualities which made the choice obvious. First of all, he's trained at one the best plastic surgery programs in the nation, if not the world. He's published in numerous journals and written textbook chapters, which is an testament to his extraordinary and comprehensive knowledge base. He's also technically brilliant in the operating room. His mind's vision of what's natural and beautiful plays out intricately into his hands, and onto the patient. Lastly, he is well-respected and holds high esteem amongst his colleagues. He's been invited to speak as an expert plastic surgeon at numerous national conferences, on thriving topics of plastic surgery. If you go look for other plastic surgeons in your city that have accomplished all of the above, you will come back with a very, very short list. Dr. Ghavami not only has the brains and the skills, but he's unbelievably humble and kind. He makes a patient feel comfortable, empowered and excited. He is thoughtful and realistic and the patient's biggest advocate. I've had 2 procedures done by Dr. Ghavami and I am elated. I recommend him to anyone I possibly can. Everyone deserves to be as happy as I am.

Dr. Ghavami can provide you with printed copies of the published scholarly articles and chapters he has written on the unbelievably tiny surgical details (techniques, relative angles, proportions) that he regularly teaches other cosmetic and plastic surgeons about: how to do perfect ethnic nose reconstruction to preserve your ethnic look to your nose while fixing problems with your nose! Dr. Ghavami's staff was extremely personable, helpful, went out of their way to make my surgery happen exactly the week it needed to happen between, despite a very quick timeframe. Sometimes he gets tied up in surgery so you can always check in with staff before your appointment to avoid a long wait time. I believe this is because he really cares about each surgery patient and ideal results of each procedure despite the very full practice. Dr. Ghavami took all the care and attention to provide the exact nose I wanted, super natural so none of my friends know and yet I look 80% better from front and side view. He has a personal investment in a perfect result. He is ambitious with what he will do in one surgery to your nose, so if you are very brave and have a lot of support for your recovery time, you will be very happy in the end. Dr. Ghavami also believes in total health so he highly recommended a regimen of a wide array of natural vitamins and minerals to prepare the body for recovery from major surgery. This seems very unusual (and I should note that he does not sell the supplements, rather he suggests you get them at your pharmacy, so it is no financial benefit to him). He provided extensive printed information for explaining the procedure, preparation, and recovery instructions. He made himself personally available to answer questions afterward. The whole practice is so personable and encouraging, they act like friends you will always remember and be grateful for.

After consulting with doctors in both LA and NYC, Dr. Ghavami was my first and only choice and I have zero regrets. I am 6 months out from my rhino and I love, love what he did. I wouldn't hesitate to see him again for another procedure in the future.
