This is life changing, all my life I struggled with the way my body looked (my belly). I liked Dr Peters from day one. She's so professional yet so humble... She takes the time to listen to your concerns, and inspires trust. I've been very happy all the step of the way...and the results are exciting! Cant believe I can wear a bikini or dress up with a tight skirt! Thank you Dr Peters for the nice contour!!! I'm excited!

Dr. Peters is an excellent plastic surgeon. (and I've been to my fair share - had a nose job, breasts, CO2 lasering done) Dr. Peters has far outweighed my expectations in a doctor, I only wish I had found her sooner! I originally went to Dr. Peters to fix my lips after another doctor had done a bad job with Juvederm. Dr. Peters took the time to listen to what my concerns were and we were able to fix my lips so they were even. I've had my second injection with her now and both times she has let me come back a week later to fill in some spots on my lips that needed a bit more. (we don't use the whole syringe at once). I would not trust ANYONE else to inject my lips now. Couldn't be happier with the work Dr. Peters has done, truly a one of a kind doctor!

I chose Dr. Peters for my augmentation surgery after doing extensive research online and having a consultation with her. I ended up having two BAs to achieve better results and she was very thorough and considerate of what I wanted with the second surgery. The entire staff at Plastic Surgery & Associates were extremely friendly and made me feel at ease. I am very happy with the outcome post-op.

Dr Peters was recommended to me by my family doctor and radiologist. All the staff is friendly and professional. I can't think of any way in which there could be any improvements as far as the above questions. I especially highly recommend Dr Peters. She stays current with her profession as she had recently learned a new way to perform the surgery I had.

It's hard to imagine being, literally, in more peerlessly skillful and caring hands than those of Dr. Mary Lee Peters. For 20 years, as a journalist and then, as a patient, I have found Dr. Peters to be simply without parallel. She listens. She is creative, practical and collaborative. And the outcome is the happy, lasting result one would hope for from an empathetic physician and surgeon who is also -- without exaggeration -- an artist. Susan Paynter

I've been a patient of Dr. Peters for seven years. When considering breast reduction, she was recommended by my gynecologist and internist, as well as two nurses! She is experienced and skilled; every procedure has been perfect. I enjoy my appointments because she's never rushed, takes time to chat, and makes me feel comfortable. Since my first procedure, she has also removed a facial mole, and given me Botox treatments.

I had been researching breast reduction for 6 years when I finally decided it was time to go through with the surgery. My RN recommended Dr. Peters and I am so glad she did. Dr. Peters and her staff were wonderful to work with. They got me a consultation quickly, kept me very informed and answered any and all questions I had, promptly returned my phone calls, and they even took care of my insurance for me. My only complaint is a small one, but the day of surgery there was some confusion as to the time of the procedure, because the time had been moved around the week prior. My self, the nurses, and Dr. Peters all had different times written down. This was handled very smoothly, though, and I doubt it happens often, if at all. I highly recommend Dr Peters and her team to any and all in the Seattle area looking for a breast reduction. I really would have the procedure done again if I needed it.

Each visit/call to the office was a positive one. Dr. Peters, her anesthesiologist, her nurse and office staff were all compassionate and willing to listen, answer questions, calm nerves, etc.
Recovery Was Not Difficult, and Was Exactly As She Described It. I Am 100% Thrilled with the Results - Seattle, WA

I contemplated this elective surgery for 5+ years. Once I met with Dr. Peters and saw her portfolio, I immediately knew I wanted to go through with it, with her as my surgeon. She conveys competence, she has vast experience, and she helped me feel like this was a good choice for me. I had complete faith in her.

I researched Seattle's top plastic surgeons prior to my breast implants and abdominoplasty. Dr. Peters was one of three consultations. I chose her mainly because she has a great bedside manner. I knew all three were more than qualified to do the procedures, so it was a matter of personality for me. Dr. Peters is not only a skilled surgeon, she's a nice, thoughtful person. That's important to me.

I had breast reduction surgery. Prior to surgery I had a sore back and shoulders, dents at the top of the shoulders. Dr. Peters explained to me prior to the surgery how much reduction there would be. She was very friendly and professional, along with her staff, pre and post surgery. The results of the surgery are excellent. I have had many people ask me for a recommendation for Dr. Peters.

I had a thoroughly positive experience with Dr. Peters and her staff. My surgery was a breast reduction and abdominalplasty on the same day. I was treated respectfully and professionally with every encounter. To begin with, Dr. Peters was recommended to me by the radiologist that reads my mammograms each year, and my family practice doctor. All my questions were answered or the procedures explained pre and post surgery.

Dr. Peters is a very professional, personable & knowledgable doctor. She listened to everything that I said I wanted, answered all the questions I had in terms I could relate to & helped me make the decisions about my surgery I needed to comfortably. After talking with her, I didn't have any second thoughts about those decisons. I have an uneven rib cage & without her advice I would have ended up with uneven breasts (one would have been higher than the other) if I'd gone with the size I originally wanted. I highly recommend Dr. Peters to anybody who is looking for a doctor who is board certified, experienced, is talented & knows what she is doing! Her entire staff rocks, too, by the way.... they made all my visits good ones!

Dr. Peters and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful through the whole process. Dr. Peters answered all my questions and reviewed the procedure in detail. She also allowed me to talk to the anesthesiologist when I expressed some concern regarding general anesthesia. I had a good experience and would recommend Dr. Peters to anyone who is looking for a plastic surgeon.

She was just excellent period! I heard about Dr. Peters from referral. This was my second procedure with Dr. Mary Lee Peters and I could not be more pleased! I felt as if I were her only patient. The time and care that she provided showed me that she truly had my best interests at heart. Dr. Peters was attentive to all my concerns throughout both procedures. I am so very happy with my results and I am glad I chose her to be my surgeon. I would recommend her to family, friends and anyone who is looking for an exceptional plastic surgeon!

I learned about Dr. Peters from this website realself.com. I interviewed one other doctor prior to meeting Dr. Peters. The prices were about the same, but Dr. Peters has a professional confidence and track record that is very impressive.

A well-defined jaw line and neck is an attractive feature and culturally seen as a sign of confidence. Chin augmentations are on the increase; up 71% in 2011. Here are some of the more subtle reasons why: A small chin can make the face imbalanced. Ideally the upper, middle, and lower thirds of your face should be about the same size. A recessive chin can make your nose look big, or out of proportion. A weak chin or jaw line can make your neck look prematurely aged...
New System for Sizing Your Breast Implant Choice One of the biggest concerns for women planning a breast augmentation is how to select the implant volume that will most closely match the outcome they are hoping for. If your surgeon does all the choosing without having you participate in the decision, the chance for unhappiness is high. If you decide for yourself without turning to your surgeon’s experienced advice an inappropriate choice is also...
“Research finds that cosmetic surgery patients do not differ from nonpatients in body satisfaction, except that they are more likely to express dissatisfaction with the specific body region targeted for surgery.” MSNBC conducted an online study of 50,000 volunteers to research how satisfaction with body image correlated with interest in plastic surgery. A 27 point questionnaire posed questions like: *How comfortable are you in a bathing suit? *Do you like your face? *How...
Here are a few “Baby Boomer” facts: Those born between 1946 and 1964 constitute 28% of the US population. 76 million Boomers will hit 65 over the next two decades, at a rate of 10,000 a day. Boomers account for half of all consumer spending. The typical Boomer feels 9 years younger than their chronological age, according to Pew Research Council data. Elective cosmetic surgery is up 65% in this age group since 2005. Non-invasive plastic surgery procedures are up 87% in the...
By Mary M. Mitchell SEATTLE | Mon Apr 9, 2012 4:14pm IST (Reuters) - Four generations coexist in today's workplace, each with a different set of perception glasses through which they see the world, their colleagues, their work, and themselves. And generational differences aside, each individual has a different set of needs, a different set of motivations. There is, however, some commonality: everybody wants to be at their best, to feel good, to look good, and to perform well. The...
