Doctor Povolny put me at ease with his minimally invasive procedures and pragmatic approach. He didn't promise me miracles with invisalign. Instead, he formed an educated plan of attack using traditional (self-ligating) braces. For full disclosure: I am an adult patient. This is my first time in braces. Although metal braces weren't my first choice. I appreciated the honesty of Doctor Povolny. I have seen significant improvement in my smile in the first several months. My personalized plan is for 22-26 months of braces.

The trend around "quick fix" and "30-day smile" and "dentists can do it" is misleading and doesn't accurately represent what can and should be done with your smile. 

After my children had their teeth straightened out by Dr. Povolny and his expert staff, I decided it was time for me to finally have braces as an adult for health reasons - to straighten out a bad cross bite and crooked teeth. My children had a very positive experience with outstanding results so I figured that I also deserved to have straight teeth after I retired. I'm very happy with the results of having had braces for 2 years. It was relatively painless and the cost after family discount, insurance benefit, and discount for full payment up front was well worth it.
