I am currently 2 weeks post op from a tiny breast reduction for symmetry , a full anchor lift and pectoral reset. After being left pretty much disfigured front my breast explant 2 years ago as well as sagging from breastfeeding for a total of 30 months, I was at the point of wanting to get implants again. I had one consult before Dr. Knotts and went to him for a second opinion after hearing a lot of good things about him friends. Right off the bat I was impressed by his bedside manner. He was kind and honest. I had my prior surgical notes from my other doctors and he caught what my first consult didn’t. The pectoral muscles weren’t down back into place after my explant. Dr. Knotts explained that I was a difficult case and didn’t think I would get the results I wanted doing a lift and implant together. He mentioned he wasn’t a fan of revisions and felt I would likely need one if we did an all in one in my current state. He suggested the lift and pectoral reset first and if I chose to reimplant we could do that 6 months later. My surgery was May 21 2025. Everything went smoothly. He marked me, I went to sleep and woke up with no issue. Even day one I was thrilled with the results from what I started with! The vertical incisions and ones around my areolas are paper thin. I didn’t really know it was possible to have such fine incisions! I went into this surgery fully wanting to get implants in 6 months after. At this point I am so happy with my results, even at this point that I’m not sure I will get implants again. I still have healing to do, but I’m not no longer scared or embarrassed to be topless in front of my husband! They look better than what I had before implants!!! If you are looking for a very talented surgeon, I cannot recommend Dr. Knotts enough! He and his staff are amazing!

My experience with Dr. Knotts was phenomenal. If you are wondering if you should book that consultation you should. 100% just do it. He meets all of the qualifications you would be looking for in a American Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Belive me I did my research on my surgeon before I even met him. I wanted to be assured I had confidence in the surgeon that I chose. My job was to find the right surgeon. I did my job. I'm glad I did because the results are amazing. I had been considering a tummy tuck for many years and wanted to be assured everything would go smoothly. I was so impressed with Dr. Knotts tummy tucks. The meticulous detail he puts into his work is what made him outshine any other surgeon that I was personally looking into. When I booked my 1st consultation with him. It was in September of 2022. Upon meeting Dr. Knotts he immediately made not only myself but my husband feel very comfortable with him. He answered all the questions and concerns that we both had. I was immediately reassure I had found the right Surgeon for me. We had been saving for my surgery so we had the money to pay cash for it. But being a mom and wife I couldn't get over the feeling of "Am I being selfish?" "Am I being too vain?" "That is alot of money maybe we can use on our family." But for the last 20 years all I have done is focus primarily on my family. A family I started at the age of 17. This is the first time i have ever done something for myself. So yeah I wanted this. I saved specifically for this surgery. So I reasoned with myself and booked a second consultation nearly one whole year after my initial consultation with Dr. Knotts. Again everything about him was reassuring. Questions were reanswered but this this time I had a booked surgery day! Surgery day 10-09-23 ( now you know who i am.) I was so nervous, anxious, excited so many emotions. Dr. Knotts came in full of vigor and ready to go. This was a pretty unique experience for me though. I got to experience Dr. Knotts as an instructor and teacher. A younger UNM resident came in this day with Dr. Knotts. I was asked my permission to have my surgery be a educational opportunity. I agreed. This young man was eager to learn. And what a great opportunity for him to learn from the absolute best. This UNM resident would also be there for my post-op appointments. Dr. Knotts went through the procedure with me. Let me know exactly what he would be doing. He confirmed my breast Implants choice that I had chosen. He proceeded to prep for surgery and left me in the caring hands off the rest of his team at the Sandia Surgery Center. A huge thanks too all of you guys too! Because of a great team and Dr. Knotts my surgery went smoothly. Now Recovery! Recovery. Recovery was not fun. This is a painful procedure and a painful recovery. And although Dr. Knotts seems really nice, don't let his blue eyes fool you. Be very very assured he will cut you and make you cry! I don't care how tuff you are. And you will pay $$$ for it! (WARNING you might not like Dr. Knotts for a few days post-op. OUCH! You actually might use some inappropriate choice words too! So fyi you have been forewarned.) I have had 3 children and a emergency c section. This pain surpassed all of those for me. This is extended pain. You will be uncomfortable for at least 4 weeks. Not in agony but definitely uncomfortable. I still find myself making certain moves that bring me pressure and it has been six months now. I am a avid gym goer. So at week 5 I was back at the gym of course it was light at first. Listen to Dr. Knotts and to your own body. I have been back at the gym since week 5 and every day I'm only getting better! Recovery is long but it is worth it. Results. Wow. I mean when I say Dr. Knotts is meticulous this guy is meticulous. This guy has my small stretch marks all lined up as if I had not just had a major surgery. I am so very impressed. This incision is so thin I can hide it under a near sheer V String. I'm only six months post-op and the scar looks great. I know it will fade to skin color soon enough. The belly button. It's perfect. I said please Dr. Knotts don't give me a belly button that looks like a round copper penny. Nope. My belly button is petite and perfect. My breast. My breast look amazing. My husband is very happy with those results too lol. I went with 450cc moderate plus mentor silicone breast implants. I did not get a lift. I wanted the breast to fall naturally and not look to high I'm in my 30's nearing 40. They look and feel perfect to my body. The breast fall naturally and fill up my bra very nicely. I cannot express how thankful I am to you Dr. Knotts. I hope you read this. You have no idea how many times I have stood infornt of my mirror and have said such hurtful comments to myself. I would not even say such hurtful things to my worst enemy. Because no matter how hard I worked out 2x a day, 5 days a week or how many outrageous diets I went on (broccoli please ). Nothing was going to change the way I felt about myself and my extra loose skin. My negative thoughts consumed me. Yes I'm sexy! I could always put on lingerie feel sexy and make my man happy without any room for complaints. But those negative thoughts were still there. So thats why I'm so grateful to you. I have confidence that has silenced those oh so hurtful negative thoughts. I look better then I could have ever imagined. I'm starting to work out my abdominal muscles and can't wait to see my gains and progress towards building a stronger core and seeing your work really come out. Thank you so much Dr. Knotts. I am still healing but I’m so pleased thus far with my results. He gave me exactly what I wanted and he did his best to give me the best results possible given the amount of skin I had. He initially suggested a body lift or FDL but I only had enough for an extended and breast lift. i love my new stomach and my belly button is exactly what I wanted. He’s very good and figuring out symmetry and proportion. I was worried about a breast lift since I didn’t want implants (maybe in the future) and I have very small breasts. He had to make the incision longer on my breast lift but I still love it. I would recommend and I would see him again for future procedures. Updated on 28 Sep 2023: Dr. Knotts incision is so symmetrical I’m so impressed. It’s also very thin and low. It’s beautiful work. I am wearing scar tape in this picture and I can only imagine with time the scar will be barely noticeable with good care. I’m so glad it’s symmetrical due to that the scar doesn’t bother me at all. The tape on my breasts have not come off yet so still waiting to see. Updated on 2 Oct 2023: There is still a some pleating. Still needs healing and settling but thus far they look amazing! Very happy with my choice in surgeon. There is a slight asymmetry that would only be noticeable to me between nipples but there is still some pleating on one nipples so I think they will look even better as they heal. Right now I just love them! When I bend over from all angles no dropping look perky. Updated on 18 Oct 2023: 6 weeks PO today. ETT, BL no lipo! I love my body more everyday. I love that I have curves with a thigh gap. I love my belly button! My body is not perfect at all but I used to hate it and now I love it. I used to never get naked or show my stomach. My camera is broken and a little cracked :( there are no editing of these pictures besides resizing. I LOVE my belly button! It’s literally perfect for what I wanted. I just trusted him I knew what I wanted in my mind and he did it. There is some rippling still on my right breast (I did not show a close up. I’m gonna wait a few more weeks) and there is a little more nipple asymmetry than there was before. I’m hoping that it healed more and looks a little better. On the whole they are still perky I don’t need a bra and they are a definite improvement (the hang) from before. i did not post updated scar yets; I will in a few weeks. It so symmetrical he did really amazingly on the symmetry of my abdominoplasty incision. It’s kind of crazy how even he got and because of that I love my stomach. And again the belly button is my favorite. He’s a very talented doctor.

I had a breast augmentation 8 years ago with saline implants, and experienced a deflation on one side earlier this year. I found Dr Knotts on RealSelf, read the many positive reviews, and booked a consultation. His office was very responsive and helped me book an appointment quickly -- there were other surgeons I considered who were booking 8 months out for consultations, didn't return phone calls, or never followed up after a consult. My consultation was fantastic; Dr Knotts spent almost an entire hour with me answering my questions, talking about my options, and explaining the replacement surgery to me. Considering I was NOT expecting to need this surgery, he made me feel good and confident about going under the knife for this implant replaement. I was able to book my surgery within the month after my consult. Day of surgery was good. I liked the private surgery center shared by Dr Knotts, Dr Chen, and a few other plastic surgeons in ABQ. It was easy to find, easy to get in and out of. I came out of sedation easily with no nausea afterwards. I felt like I was in very good hands with my anesthesiologist and the nurse attendant. Aftercare instructions were clear and easy to follow. At my two week follow up, Dr Knotts showed me the massages to do and said everything looked good (I agree! I think his recommendation on replacing the saline with silicone and the new implant profile really suits my body well)! I'm thrilled with the result (4 weeks PO today) and highly recommend this surgeon for his bedside manner, his ability to pick the right implant for one's frame, and his excellent work with my body. I also appreciate his patient & surgery coordinators at the office who helped coordinate surgery, and my nurse & anesthesiologist at the surgery center.

Dr. Knotts performed my surgery. The process was simple. Booked my consultation I scheduled surgery. I was nervous at first but after surgery everything went well. I would 100% recommend this surgery and Dr. Knotts to any male who is struggling with Gynecomastia.

My experience with Dr. Knotts is all around AMAZING! I first met Dr. Knotts a week after my initial consultation with Dr.Chen at Plastic Surgery institute of New Mexico. I was told at my first consult with Dr. Chen that I wasn’t able to go up to the size or look I wanted, he spent maybe 7-8 min total with me so I decided to make another appointment with Dr. Knotts And get a second opinion. From the moment I met him, he listened and understood exactly the look I was going for, he took his time and did the proper measurements and explained everything tossured me that going to the size Idoable and he was confident in getting me to the size and profile I wanted. I left that consultation beyond happy. I am so glad I went with my gut and got the second opinion and went with a Surgeon that made me feel comfortable from the beginning. When it came to surgery day, he was peppy and on point came in and chatted with me to make sure I was doing ok then later on that night he called to check in on me! Later on that weekend I ended up getting a yeast infection due to antibiotics and I called him on his day off, I felt terrible but he assured me it was fine and within an hour my prescriptions were ready. At every post op appointment since he has been very kind and informative. As far as results go, I am two weeks post op and I am in love with my implants. One of the best decisions I have ever made. So if your looking for a great surgeon, choose Dr. Christoper Knotts.

After losing 180#s I had enough lose skin for a while other person! I have had a fleur de lis lower body lift, braline back lift and breast lift. My results are phenomenal! Dr Knotts has walked me through every procedure, his bedside manner is wonderful. He’s never once rolled his eyes at my dumb questions. I can not say enough good things about him.

4 months ago I had a mommy makeover with Dr. Christopher Knotts. My procedure consisted of an extended tummy tuck, liposuction of the abdomen and flanks, liposuction of the back, and a breast lift. I had been planning and saving for this procedure for YEARS. I was apprehensive going into my consultation and Dr. Knotts calmed all my fears and reassured me that I was a good candidate who would see some noticeable results. Talk about an understatement!! My mommy pooch is GONE. My breasts are finally up where I'd like them. And, I wore a bikini for the first time in my entire life this summer. My family, friends, and fellow gym bootcampers are all amazed at the results. I have renewed confidence in myself. It's amazing how what you see in the mirror can affect your thoughts. Dr. Knott's is the absolute best doctor! He did an amazing job on my breast reduction and he and his staff took amazing care of me before, during, and after my surgery. I'm so happy I chose them for this life changing surgery! I am forever grateful.
